托福獨立寫作高分之時間策略（三）

前面講到，當考生把框架結構和論證段細節(jié)和例子補充完畢，這個時候時間要剩下大概5-8分鐘，需要快速轉入開頭和結尾的完善。此講筆者要跟大家分享幾種開頭段落的寫法，幫助大家在考試的時候能夠從容。
    我們還是延續(xù)之前的那道題目：
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Students should be given one long vacation each year instead of several short vacation periods.
Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

策略一：[Beginning with the other argument]
    從對論入手，可以先承認對論的一些優(yōu)點，然后轉折到自己的論點。
Short, frequent vacation periods can appeal to some people. They like the fact that they won’t have to study too long without getting a break. In addition, they may find that a small amount of vacation at any one time is enough for them to rest or do other things besides study. However, I personally agree with the idea of granting one long vacation per year rather than allowing several shorter vacation periods.

策略二：為自己的論點營造一個有說服力的背景去支撐自己的觀點
[Creating a persuasive context in support of our argument]
When students consider an upcoming vacation and break from their studies, they may be thinking about a variety of things. Perhaps they are looking forward to a chance to rest and unwind from the stresses of study. In other cases, they may be relishing the opportunity to make some money or get some real-world experience – whether that be work or travel (or both). Personally, I agree with the idea of granting one long vacation per year rather than allowing several shorter vacation periods.

策略三：把讀者置身于你想象的畫面里
[Put the reader into the picture]

Imagine you are a college student. You have been studying hard and a vacation period is finally coming up. However, the vacation is only going to last for a week. Does it truly feel like enough time for a real break? From my own perspective, it doesn’t. Personally, I agree with the idea of granting one long vacation per year rather than allowing several shorter vacation periods.

策略四：加轉折，變客觀
[+ Insert concession statements/clauses]

Imagine you are a college student. You have been studying hard and a vacation period is finally coming up. However, the vacation is only going to last for a week. Does it truly feel like enough time for a real break? Well, it may feel sufficient for some or even many students, but from my own perspective, it doesn’t. Personally, I agree with the idea of granting one long vacation per year rather than allowing several shorter vacation periods.
