備考寶典：托福考試寫作常用詞組50條

英文寫作反映考生綜合運用英語語言的能力，只有在宏觀和微觀兩個方面都把握得當(dāng)才能構(gòu)成一篇完美的TOEFL作文。這里的宏觀是就一篇文章的框架結(jié)構(gòu)而言的，而微觀是指一篇文章的語篇要素，即文章中表達意義的微觀單位，包括單詞、短語和句子。語篇要素運用的純熟，能很好地反映一個人的語言修養(yǎng)，準(zhǔn)確的用詞、多樣化的句式結(jié)構(gòu)以及精妙得體的修辭會使整篇文章熠熠生輝，極富感染力。

1.have an ace in the hole

握有王牌,很有把握

When you have the ace in your hand,you have something which you can use to gain an advantage when you need it.have an ace in the hole(American)

2.a class act

(在運動或演藝方面)很出色的人

I have been tracking Neil for a year,he is a class act and I have got a lot respect for his ability.

我已跟蹤尼爾一年，他是個出色的家伙，我很崇拜他的能力。

3.break one’s back

努力地工作

When you’re breaking your back to make an enterprise work,it’s going to cut into your time with family.

當(dāng)你全身心投入工作的時候，會侵占到家庭生活的時間。

What does get my back up is a girlfriend who gets too jealous if someone else finds me attractive.
