專家解讀：轉(zhuǎn)折信號詞在雅思閱讀中的用處

轉(zhuǎn)折信號詞的作用是否定前面的觀點(diǎn)，肯定后面句子的觀點(diǎn)。表示轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)系的詞有：but，however，whereas，in fact，on the contrary，conversely，on the other hand等。在閱讀前半句時就可以預(yù)測后半句的大意，使接下來的閱讀過程變成求證，如同把文章讀了兩遍。另外，如果在有生詞的情況下，只要理解了半句話的意思，就可以推測到另一半句子的含義。

比如原文劍橋5 Test3  Passage1
　　Early childhood education, paragraph E, by the age of 3, the children .......more advanced in ...., had made greater strides in...., and were further along in social development. In fact, the average child in the programme was performing at the level of the top 15 to 20 percent of their peers in such things as auditory comprehension, verbal ability and language ability.
　　題目為
　　Most Missouri programme three-year-olds scored highly in areas such as listening, speaking, reasoning and interacting with others.

解題： in fact為轉(zhuǎn)折信號詞，故這之后為重點(diǎn)，是作者想強(qiáng)調(diào)的觀點(diǎn)，這樣我們就可以注意到小孩子在三個方面做的比同齡年人好，分別是聽力理解，口語能力和語言能力。正好對應(yīng)題目里面的聽力，口語，推理和交流。故答案是True.
　　再比如：

以上列出來的都是有轉(zhuǎn)折詞的句子，并且問題考到當(dāng)句話的情況。 其實(shí)遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不止這幾句。但是能從里面看出來，轉(zhuǎn)折詞考到的文章中句子概率還是很大的。我們需要引起高度重視。
