雅思口語人物類解題思路丨什么是“APEC”法則？

 了解雅思口語考試的小伙伴們應(yīng)該很熟悉其中一類讓人又愛又恨的p2題目了，那就是人物類題目。每個(gè)季度都會有不同的新題涌現(xiàn)，每次都要準(zhǔn)備新的素材，真真是心累了，那么這一類題型是否有一個(gè)普適性的可用的答題規(guī)律的，我們今天就通過這篇文章來幫各位烤鴨們答題解惑。

首先，不管題庫怎么變化，人物類題目無非就是分為以下三大類：

1. 自己

（例題：Describe a personality of yours）

2. 身邊的人people around you

（例題: Describe a person who made you laugh，Describe a person you would like to spend time with, Describe someone you would like to work or study with等）

3. 名人celebrity

（比如：Describe a comic actor，Describe a creative inventor等）。

當(dāng)然，很多題目的界限設(shè)定不明顯，通常既可以歸類到身邊的人，也可以歸類到名人。（比如俊男美女這個(gè)題目既可以是身邊的好看的小伙伴，也可以是喜歡的某個(gè)idol。)

以上三類題目涵蓋了人物類的所有題目，所有同學(xué)基本只需要準(zhǔn)備好三個(gè)通用的素材，就能套人物類的大部分題目，即使換題也萬變不離其宗。因此掌握人物類題目的講題思路和順序就尤其重要，不僅能夠幫助擴(kuò)展思路，做到p2能夠keep talking超過一分半鐘；而且還能使得邏輯思維結(jié)構(gòu)更佳清晰，更為coherent。

所以接下來以新題俊男美女為例子，講解人物類第二類people around you的解題思路之“APEC”法則。

Describe a person you have seen who is beautiful or handsome

You should say:

Where you saw this person

When you saw this person

What this person looked like

Why you think this person is handsome or beautiful

第一步：引入話題

1.The person that I’d like to talk about is …

第二步：初次見面 First Met

I still remember the first time I met&encountered him/ her was …years ago, when …

第三步：關(guān)系如何 Relationship

對于people around you 這類型的題目，通常需要在relationship這里加上一些細(xì)節(jié)化一些的內(nèi)容。這樣會有比較自然的過渡。也能體現(xiàn)這個(gè)person around you 是“真朋友”，而不是“塑料姐妹花”， 但是由于篇幅緣故，這里就只給出部分例句。

As soon as we met each other, we got on like a house on fire.

I hit it off with him as we had many shared topics.

We just clicked because we saw eye to eye about almost everything.

第四步：見面頻率 Meeting Frequency+ 經(jīng)常一起做的事情 What Usually Do

見面頻率相關(guān)表達(dá)：

meet each other once a week

meet each other on a weekly basis

meet on a regular basis

be like peas and carrots

During the … years in university/ high school/ middle school, we met each other about once a week/ we were like peas and carrots.

經(jīng)常一起做的事情句型：What we usually do include attending class together, going to the library together, and …

第五步：外貌的描述 Appearance 

一個(gè)人的外貌的描述可以簡單的分為三部分：1. 面部特征 facial features  2. 身材 figure／build ；3. 穿著打扮 (dressing)。這里主要介紹前面兩部分，再輔之以我們同學(xué)平時(shí)習(xí)慣的一般性介紹（general description）。

1）面部特征 facial features: 對于面部五官的描述中，最典型的就是對于眼睛的描述，因?yàn)檠劬δ軌蝮w現(xiàn)出一個(gè)人的神色來。

e.g. 

He has a pair of sparkling eyes, from which you can feel his wisdom.

She has a pair of twinkling eyes, which are pretty charming.

另外如果笑起來有兩個(gè)小酒窩，那就魅力加倍了！

She smiled slightly, revealing two beautiful dimples on her cheeks. 

除了眼睛之外，還有其他面部特征可以表達(dá)：

緋紅的臉 rosy face

劉海 fringe

彎彎的眉毛 arched eyebrow

2) 身材描述 figure/body type: 好看的人不僅僅是五官精致，往往還有這高挑纖細(xì)的身材，這也是體現(xiàn)一個(gè)人氣質(zhì)的地方。

e.g

She is slender, with delicate wrists and ankles.

He is ripped because he exercises everyday and has a balanced diet.

除了此之外，還有其他描述身材的表達(dá)：

嬌小的 petite

瘦長的 slim/lanky / slender=

有曲線的curvy

健壯的be well-built

肌肉發(fā)達(dá)的 muscular

第六步：性格描述 personality

描述人物性格的形容詞有很多，同學(xué)準(zhǔn)備這類話題的時(shí)候一定要去背誦相關(guān)詞匯；但是有時(shí)候即使背了很多詞匯，等到考試的時(shí)候腦子里第一個(gè)蹦出來的也是類似于friendly／outgoing之類的，導(dǎo)致說完形容詞之后就不知道該如何接下去了。

因此人物性格類形容詞需要簡單的分兩類來背誦：

1）對于自己的性格（to oneself）

2）對于他人的性格（to others）

比如

1）對自己（to oneself）

self-disciplined 自律的

diligent= hardworking=industrious=studious刻苦勤奮的

ambitious 有進(jìn)取心的

…

2) 對他人 （to others）

amiable = easygoing  隨和的

amusing 逗趣的

friendly 友好的

….

第七步：性格所帶來的效果 Effect （即：進(jìn)一步解釋上述講到的形容詞）。

描述人物性格是人物類話題最重要的一部分，因此不能光給出形容詞，否則會變成形容詞的堆砌，也不能說服考官。所以一定要對于給出的形容詞給出進(jìn)一步的explanation，以及example來支撐。

這里以幽默討喜的性格特點(diǎn)為例子來講解：

e.g. 

Personality: She is an amusing&likable girl.

Effect: By that I mean, she is full of sense of humor (explanation). 

For example, she can crack many hilarious jokes when I feel down in the dumps.

第八步：性格所帶來對我的改變 Change

人物性格有多種多樣，至于為什么選取這幾種來講，那應(yīng)該是和“我”（說話人）有所相關(guān)，所以可以就人物性格給我?guī)�來的改變進(jìn)行描述。

e.g. 

Personality: She is an amusing&likable girl.

Effect: By that I mean, she is full of sense of humor (explanation). 

For example, she can crack many of hilarious jokes when I feel down in the dumps.

Change: Therefore, I really enjoy the company of her because she could always cheer me up and help me reboot and release.

以上只是一個(gè)人物性格的組合講解（P-E-C），考試的時(shí)候可以準(zhǔn)備2-3個(gè)左右。

由此構(gòu)成了人物類題目的描述規(guī)則—“APEC”(總結(jié)如圖)。

范例答案

Introduce

The person that I’d like to talk about is my dearest friend Elwing, who is also my college classmate. As I recall, I first encountered her 4 years ago, when we came to register for the first semester and her gorgeous appearance stunned me at that time.

Appearance

She has a pair of twinkling eyes, which looks pretty charming. Besides, when she smiles slightly, there will be two dimples on her cheeks.

In addition, she also has a slender figure with delicate wrists and ankles, which definitely adds her femininity.

Relationship

Later when we were distributed to the same class, we got on like a house on fire and were like  peas and carrots during the four years in college. What we used to do together include attending class, going to the library, and hanging out.

PEC之 amusing&likable

Apart from her exceedingly gorgeous appearance, what makes her more beautiful is her unique personal charisma. (Personality) Well, she is an amusing&likable girl. (Effect) By that I mean, she is full of sense of humor. For example, she can crack many of hilarious jokes when I am down in the dumps. (Change) Therefore, I really enjoy the company of her because she could always cheer me up and help me reboot and release.

So from these reasons, I consider Elwing as the most beautiful person I’ve ever met.
