1.stand out.

這個(gè)表達(dá)的英文解釋是：If somebody stands out, they are easy to see because there is something unusual about the way they look or the way they behave.

中文意思就是“突出”的意思。

下面咱們看一個(gè)例句：One of my sons says he likes people to notice him, and his green hair certainly makes him stand out in a crowd.

在本季口語(yǔ)話題中有這樣一個(gè)話題：What kind of people become famous? 有一些同學(xué)會(huì)想說(shuō)，那些有才能的人會(huì)出名，這樣的答案我們?nèi)绾握f(shuō)出來(lái)？

中文意思是能說(shuō)會(huì)道，口齒伶俐。

舉個(gè)例子：If you want to be a politician, you'll do much better if you were born with the gift of gab.
