雅思閱讀題型講解之二 ——句子填空

回憶一下我們之前講過(guò)的內(nèi)容，我們已經(jīng)對(duì)閱讀需要用到的語(yǔ)法基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)，以及雅思做題需要的基礎(chǔ)——找定位詞，有了了解，接下來(lái)終于可以把這些知識(shí)真正的應(yīng)用到具體的題目上了呢！鼓掌��！

那么接下來(lái)就讓我們來(lái)看看雅思閱讀的第一大類(lèi)題型——填空，當(dāng)中的第一小類(lèi)——句子填空題。

句子填空

首先，讓我們來(lái)看看句子填空題是長(zhǎng)啥樣的：

Complete the sentences.

Choose NO MORE THAN THREE WORDS from the passage for each answer.

Write your answer in boxes 34-40 on your answer sheet.

34. Day length is a useful cue for breeding in areas where __________ are unpredictable.

NO.1————請(qǐng)注意斜體字部分——NO MORE THAN THREE WORDS。

每一道填空題的題干里都能夠找到類(lèi)似的字?jǐn)?shù)要求，他的意思是，每個(gè)空格中的答案都是有字?jǐn)?shù)限制的，在這道題中，每個(gè)空格的字?jǐn)?shù)絕對(duì)不可超過(guò)3個(gè)。

NO.2————請(qǐng)注意字?jǐn)?shù)要求后面的“from the passage”，這意味著雅思填空題并不同于我們平時(shí)在英語(yǔ)考試中碰到的考察我們語(yǔ)法或者詞匯的填空，雅思填空的答案是來(lái)自于文章中的原文的，換句話(huà)來(lái)說(shuō)，他不需要我們“自由發(fā)揮”。

以這道題為例，首先，當(dāng)然是大家早就已經(jīng)猜到的——找合適的定位詞。（順便還可以復(fù)習(xí)一下哦~~）

34. Day length is a useful cue for breeding in areas where __________ are unpredictable.

這道題中，最細(xì)節(jié)最unique的那個(gè)詞顯然是breeding，于是通過(guò)這個(gè)詞我們找到了包含定位詞的原文段落：

Breeding in most organisms occurs during a part of the year only, and so a reliable cue is needed to trigger breeding behavior. Day length is an excellent cue, because it provides a perfectly predictable pattern of change within the year. In the temperate zone in spring, temperatures fluctuate greatly from day to day, but day length increases steadily by a predictable amount.

等等~然而除了這里之外還有一個(gè)地方也出現(xiàn)了breeding:

Breeding seasons in animals such as birds have evolved to occupy the part of the year in which offspring have the greatest chances of survival. Before the breeding season begins, food reserves must be built up to support the energy cost of reproduction, and to provide for young birds both when they are in the nest and after fledging.
