最近有些童鞋反應(yīng)，為什么我自我感受很好，考試中說了很多，但最后總是萬年5分？為什么我花了很多時間準備，還是考不到理想的分數(shù)？
首先，老師表示深深的同情，但是，老師想要問的是，你確定在考試中清晰地表達出了自己的觀點嗎？那么問題來了，清晰度是什么？它重要嗎？今天我跟大家談?wù)勎覍ρ潘荚u分標準中清晰度的理解。
我們來看下評分標準 （the four grading criteria）:
One main point is that in all the criteria a key idea is being clear. The main idea is whether you can express yourself clearly so that someone else can understand you.
評分標準中的一個主要的點就是清晰度，即你是否能夠清晰地表達出你的觀點，并讓對方理解你。
清晰度確實很重要，無論是語法、發(fā)音還是詞匯，因為清晰度可以保障理解，而理解是溝通的本質(zhì)和底線。問題是：是否用簡單的詞句就能達到清晰度呢？我認為，清晰度的展現(xiàn)需要與你目前的語言能力達到一致。
1.如果你具備一定的英語表達能力，那么清晰度就等同于相對復(fù)雜的語句結(jié)構(gòu)和詞匯的替換與細化。舉一個簡單的栗子，part1 和part2有很多題目需要描述地點，我們就說說杭州。杭州很美，地球人都知道。但是你能夠清晰地告訴沒有來過杭州的外國朋友杭州到底美在什么地方嗎？

enchanting natural beauty like West Lake and
abundant cultural heritages like Lingyin Temple.
However, the downtown area is pretty modern with high-rise buildings and many pubs.
很顯然，這個描述把杭州美在什么地方說得很清楚。
2.如果你并不具備說復(fù)雜句的能力，那么用簡單的詞句可以傳遞基本的清晰度，增加復(fù)雜詞句只會增加困惑。
Hangzhou is a beautiful city with natural beauty like West Lake and cultural heritages like Lingyin Temple. However，there are many tall buildings and pubs in the downtown, so it’s pretty modern.
所以，英語是細節(jié)語言，我們要通過表達的細化來展示更多的清晰度
3.最后給大家留一個問題思考：A和B同學(xué)都在描述出國學(xué)習的感受，那個更好呢？
A:
Studying abroad is Interesting and relaxing and it’s a good way to gain knowledge
B:
When I study abroad, I can travel in different places, so it enables me to make friends with people from different culture backgrounds and also experience exotic customs in person. Plus, I can even solve problems like language barrier, cultural shock and even some crisis.
