講真，這么文藝的名字并非我本意，只是最近生活節(jié)奏太快，導(dǎo)致整個人都散發(fā)出一種舌頭打結(jié)腦子短路的氣質(zhì)。加之新年夜時(shí)，一個漂在紐約的好友發(fā)來一張自拍，照片中的他站在紐約一片喧囂的街景中，大家原來眼中的羞澀boy，已然蛻變成一個對未來充滿希望和信心的New Yorker。這兩個事件一結(jié)合，一下讓我對世界產(chǎn)生了很深的感觸。

所以，今天帶大家看一部今年被提名奧斯卡最佳影片的《布魯克林（Brooklyn）》，主題就圍繞住在Brooklyn的移民，來審視能讓人用盡一生去感受去愛的這座城——New York。（那些住在Manhattan的土豪們隨意感受下就好~~）

《布魯克林》劇情簡介

Brooklyn的劇情，更適合一個背井離鄉(xiāng)的人，握著綠蟻新醅酒，倚著紅泥小火爐，在一個靜謐的雪夜默默感受的一個故事。

來自愛爾蘭的Eilis在一個小鎮(zhèn)上在一個巫婆一樣的老女人開的雜貨店里打工，日子過得比較糟心。她姐姐知道Eilis的難處，幫她找到一份美國工作的機(jī)會。剛到美國，她還帶著來自愛爾蘭的濃厚鄉(xiāng)土氣息，但是大城市的機(jī)會和境遇已經(jīng)比原來的小城好太多。所以Eilis從一開始思鄉(xiāng)落淚，到努力適應(yīng)了新的工作和生活，最后找到了一生摯愛——同樣漂在紐約的意大利移民Tony（看到男主名字的一瞬間，入戲很深的我還是出戲了）。

可是后來，Eilis的姐姐突然病故（真的非常突然，看來導(dǎo)演還借鑒了韓�。�，Eilis倉促回到家，卻發(fā)現(xiàn)過去的小鎮(zhèn)也有她的種種眷戀和不舍，這邊有小鎮(zhèn)的安逸、好友的召喚和家鄉(xiāng)的溫暖，大洋彼岸卻有更自由的環(huán)境、深情的Tony和更多更好的機(jī)會。女主在各種徘徊掙扎后，最后毅然決然回到了Brooklyn，回到了那個能寄托夢想的地方：New York city。

整個故事并不復(fù)雜，所以女主的情感流露和內(nèi)心掙扎撐起了這部電影的主要戲劇沖突。女主的表現(xiàn)也沒讓大家失望，通過這部戲已經(jīng)獲得了奧斯卡最佳女主的提名。她就是大家并不陌生的Saoirse Ronan。羅南妹子已經(jīng)出落成一個大美人了。從“贖罪”這部電影開始，我只是覺得這是一個長相不俗的蘿莉；后來到了《布達(dá)佩斯大飯店》，她的臉上多一個神秘scar，讓我險(xiǎn)些沒認(rèn)出來。

直到最近看完《Brooklyn》，我只能感嘆，這個94年生人的、眼睛藍(lán)成一汪湖水的、在電影《贖罪（2007）》里坑了一票人的熊孩子，現(xiàn)在眼神里滿滿的都是人間百態(tài)了啊，我是不是也可以安心地變老了呢。

Eilis的這段話，給所有志在遠(yuǎn)方的人：

You will feel so homesick that you will want to die, and there is nothing you can do about it apart from endure it. But you will, and it won’t kill you, and one day the sun will come out and you might not even note it straight away. It would be that faint, and then you will catch yourself thinking about something or someone has no connection to the past, someone who’s only yours, and you will realize that this is where your life is.

Living in a big city provides us with an opportunity of awakening, both to the world and to ourselves. Living in a big city is like a journey of excitement to the world, it is also a journey of discovery within our heart.

Specifically, my belief is reconfirmed after watching the movie Brooklyn. It is a film about Eilis, an Irish woman, who crossed the Atlantic to America in the 1950s. Highly career-motivated, Eilis finds that New York city is inevitably a better place for her, the skyscrapers, the kindness of strangers and endless possibilities all open her eyes and encourage her be become a woman she have never dreamed of. At last, she breaks free from her shell and shines in New York, an unfamiliar, yet warm and thrilling city.

I feel related to Eilis’s story and realize that it is within the big city that new possibilities can be unfolded, a strong personality can be formed, a new height can be achieved. So, as a student who longs for more opportunities, I love big cities rather than small towns.
