1. 可數(shù)名詞永遠(yuǎn)不能單獨(dú)使用,要么前面有限定詞,如the/an/a/this/that/my/your這些詞,要不后面加復(fù)數(shù)。
例:Employee can get more benefits from telecommuting than employer.
改法:employee和employer的前面加上the或者后面加上s。
2. 英語(yǔ)里面動(dòng)詞原形不能做主語(yǔ)。
例:Teach academic subjects is the main duty of the teacher.
改法:teach改為teaching。
3. 主語(yǔ)很長(zhǎng)的時(shí)候一定要注意主謂一致的問(wèn)題。
例:The suggestion put forward by the girls have been accepted.
改法:把have改為has。
4. 一個(gè)句子中不可能出現(xiàn)緊挨著的兩個(gè)動(dòng)詞原形,
例:We are like computer games.
改法:去掉are.
另外,一個(gè)句子中也不可能同時(shí)出現(xiàn)沒(méi)有時(shí)態(tài)或語(yǔ)態(tài)變化的三個(gè)動(dòng)詞。
The environment has be deteriorate since ten years ago.
改法:be改為been, deteriorate改為deteriorating.

5. 修飾名詞用形容詞,修飾形容詞或者動(dòng)詞用副詞。
例:Different students should not be treated differently by their teachers.
We are in a new world where the high automated machines have been wide used.
改法:high改為highly, wide改為widely.
6. 兩個(gè)獨(dú)立的句子之間沒(méi)有一個(gè)連接詞,肯定是病句。
(連接詞)句子1,句子2。 或句子1,(連接詞)句子2。
例:Some people think the Internet only has positive impact, other people think it also has negative influence on our lives.
改法:句中加上while表示對(duì)比。
7. There be 句型中后面的名詞再加動(dòng)詞時(shí)用分詞形式。
例:There are a great many children think the main purpose of education should be to afford them pleasure and enjoyment.
改法:把think改為thinking。
8. 幾個(gè)單詞的常見(jiàn)用法錯(cuò)誤。
①lack:可以做名詞也可以做動(dòng)詞,但是用法不同:
名詞:lack of sth.
He has a lack of confidence to write in English.
動(dòng)詞:lack
He lacks confidence to write in English.
②動(dòng)詞“代替”是replace,不是instead of(介詞短語(yǔ)):
The Internet has instead of teachers in many classrooms.
改法:把instead of 改為 replaced。
③against是介詞“反對(duì),與…相反,逆,違反,不是動(dòng)詞,不能單獨(dú)當(dāng)謂語(yǔ)使用:
We are playing against the league champions next week.
That is against the law.
