往往在英國(guó)大學(xué)官網(wǎng)上,查不到太多對(duì)推薦信的要求
英國(guó)留學(xué)申請(qǐng)材料,除了學(xué)歷,成績(jī)單之外,還有一份很重要的文件:推薦信(Letter of Reference)
推薦信——其實(shí)就是讓推薦人,好好贊美你一番,好好夸夸你~~

Two academic references
You should arrange to supply two academic references (from tutors who have taught you at university) as part of the online process. This is a secure and confidential service for referees and helps speed up the decision-making process. You should use your referee’s academic (university) email address when requesting a reference.
Current students and applicants who graduated from their most recent study after January 2014must supply two academic references. References should be from a teaching member of your current (or, if you have graduated, from your most recent) university department.
Applicants who graduated from their most recent study before January 2014 may supply one non-academic reference in place of one of your academic references. This should normally be a reference from your most recent employer (see our guidance for professional references).
Applicants who graduated from their most recent study before January 2012may supply two professional references if they are unable to provide academic references. It is in your interests to supply academic references wherever possible.

任課教師:教你所以懂你啦,注意這門科目成績(jī)也要好喲,否則白夸;
項(xiàng)目論文導(dǎo)師:參與項(xiàng)目/論文,對(duì)你有所了解,有足夠接觸的時(shí)間;
學(xué)院領(lǐng)導(dǎo):最好是教過(guò)你的老師,或者在某個(gè)學(xué)校大型活動(dòng)中有接觸
單位領(lǐng)導(dǎo):如工作,單位領(lǐng)導(dǎo)推薦

三、夸什么呢?值得推薦哪些方面呢?
任課老師:突出學(xué)習(xí)能力、學(xué)習(xí)方法、學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣、學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度以及學(xué)業(yè)潛力等方面;
項(xiàng)目老師:可以突出你的科研能力;
學(xué)院校長(zhǎng):可以突出綜合素質(zhì)、能力特長(zhǎng)、課內(nèi)外整體表現(xiàn)等;
單位領(lǐng)導(dǎo):工作的話突出工作能力,工作表現(xiàn)。

四、推薦信的格式要求?
1、介紹部份。
首先應(yīng)該明確地介紹推薦人的情況,工作單位、職位、與學(xué)生的關(guān)系以及與學(xué)生相處的時(shí)間長(zhǎng)短等。在這一部份也可以給被推薦人一個(gè)總體的評(píng)價(jià)。
2、主體部分。
重點(diǎn)講述學(xué)生一至兩個(gè)優(yōu)秀品質(zhì),并且用有力的事實(shí)證明加以輔佐,千萬(wàn)不要羅列事列,不要蜻蜓點(diǎn)水地介紹。
3、結(jié)論部份。
解釋為什么學(xué)生的申請(qǐng)計(jì)劃是適合他本人的,還可以說(shuō)明你認(rèn)為該學(xué)生未來(lái)會(huì)對(duì)申請(qǐng)的學(xué)校做出什么樣的貢獻(xiàn)。最后可以再次強(qiáng)調(diào)你對(duì)學(xué)生充滿信心,同時(shí)表示學(xué)校在審核材料的過(guò)程中可以隨時(shí)聯(lián)系推薦人。
五、寫作注意事項(xiàng):
1、一定要有具體的事例加以佐證,切忌用一些非常空泛的形容詞;
2、推薦人應(yīng)熟悉學(xué)生,這樣寫出來(lái)才會(huì)真實(shí)有感;
3、一定是以老師的口吻來(lái)寫,注意用詞和寫作口氣;
4、推薦信內(nèi)容盡量不要與PS內(nèi)容重復(fù),浪費(fèi)可利用空間。
