就托福綜合寫作部分,提兩點(diǎn)需要注意的方面:
1. 字?jǐn)?shù)問題
很多學(xué)生課上問我,雖然綜合寫作的字?jǐn)?shù)要求是150-225,但是字?jǐn)?shù)是不是越多越好?還有同學(xué)讓我提供200字以上的綜合寫作模板,因?yàn)樗麄冋f聽聞一個(gè)傳說,托福寫作高分字?jǐn)?shù)越多越好,一篇綜合要打400字,一篇獨(dú)立要打800字。
寫的越長(zhǎng),分?jǐn)?shù)越高,這條從來就沒有出現(xiàn)在托福考試的評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)里,自然,這個(gè)傳說也就不攻自破了。托福作文的語(yǔ)言要書面地道、準(zhǔn)確得體,假若5個(gè)詞能準(zhǔn)確表達(dá)的意思你硬要用拖沓的20個(gè)詞去表述,過度地使用套話,這絕對(duì)不是能為你學(xué)習(xí)的方法。
2. 聽力材料
大部分學(xué)生都覺得綜合寫作的聽力材料要比聽力考試部分的簡(jiǎn)單很多,但是兩個(gè)部分考察的側(cè)重點(diǎn)是不一樣的。綜合寫作中的聽力材料考核的是短時(shí)間聚集材料整合成有邏輯文章的能力,需要理解并記錄聽到的內(nèi)容,然后進(jìn)一步消化成自己的東西并輸出成作文。
很多同學(xué)能夠理解聽力在講什么,但是很多詞寫不正確或者是不能用自己的話去整合描述聽力的內(nèi)容,所以我覺得綜合寫作的聽力更需要精聽,同時(shí)也建議在做綜合寫作的聽力時(shí)筆記多多益善,盡量把握住盡可能多的細(xì)節(jié)。
附:個(gè)人比較推薦的一個(gè)綜合寫作模板
Integral writing task:
The speaker questions the reasoning that supports / opposes __(閱讀總論點(diǎn))_. Subsequently, he raises serious counterarguments against the reading paragraph by providing drastically different evidences regarding ______,______, and _____.
The professor begins by pointing out that… (聽力分論點(diǎn)1) It is because….(聽力細(xì)節(jié)1) This evidence disagrees with the standpoint that..(閱讀分論點(diǎn)1), as demonstrated in the reading article.
Then the professor goes on to talk about…(聽力分論點(diǎn)2) He argues, it is... that/ who..( 聽力細(xì)節(jié)2). According to the reading passage, however, …(閱讀分論點(diǎn)2). Therefore, the lecture contradicts what is presented in the reading passage.
Finally, the professor states that…(聽力分論點(diǎn)3) In fact, ….( 聽力細(xì)節(jié)3) This example/ point of view also casts doubt on the contents of the reading passage, which considers...( 閱讀分論點(diǎn)3)
部分可替換詞:
Uses three specific points: uses ample evidence, offers plenty of evidence, presents sufficient evidence, provides some compelling arguments, shows enough evidence, reveals three pieces of evidence
states: believes, argues, asserts, claims, contends, maintains, insists, thinks, indicates
Support: confirm/back/back up/buttress/strengthen/bolster/advocate
Contradicts: challenges, clashes with, conflicts with, denies, opposes, is opposed to, runs counter to, is exactly/precisely the opposite of, makes… seem weak, makes…seem dubious, makes…seem doubtful, raises doubts about, puts…in doubt, throws…into doubt, questions, casts doubt on, disagrees with, is against
