SAT寫作之論述部分

6月將至，又是SAT考試的高峰季，香港的考點(diǎn)已經(jīng)全滿，很多考生要轉(zhuǎn)投到其他考點(diǎn)，如韓國、日本。面臨日益激烈的SAT考試，寫作何去何從呢？我們還需要牢記PIE的突兀結(jié)構(gòu)以謀求一個(gè)8分的起評分嗎？答案是否定的。

自教SAT以來，很多時(shí)候都是按照SAT寫作的TEE（Topic-Explanation-Example）來教導(dǎo)學(xué)生，發(fā)現(xiàn)如果學(xué)生的分?jǐn)?shù)總維持在8~9分的基本分?jǐn)?shù)。語言當(dāng)然是重要的一個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)，但是否能決定一個(gè)學(xué)生的最終分?jǐn)?shù)呢？

問題在于例子和論述間沒有很好的聯(lián)系起來，導(dǎo)致body段很突兀。例如：

Classical ballet prevailed in 19th century known for its highly strict rules and unnatural body movements. Isodora Duncan, the founder of modern dance, innovated a unique style"Free Dance". Her goal is to alternate the way performers dance and try to convey true emotion to audience. Although her view on dance was strongly against Russian authorities, she never gave up her faith in modern dance. Later on, this new style of dancing won popularity among the public. Many dance learners go for instruction and many famous dancers appeared. || From the story of Duncan, we realize that successful people never let prevailing opinions hinder their mind. Instead, they just keep moving towards their belief no matter what.

這個(gè)body的問題是沒有進(jìn)行很好的論述，很匆忙地結(jié)束了自己的段落。應(yīng)該首先將自己的敘述部分更加簡潔化，然后更多的時(shí)間放在夾敘夾議中，如下文：

Columbus serves as one prominent example in casting aside the then authorities and scholars. During the Renaissance, many navigators motivated and tempted by outside world struggled in sailing in the ocean to seek for their fortune at the other end of world. Columbus was of no exception. He led his ships and sailors sailing across the Atlantic Ocean and settling in the new world. （層一）Truth proves that his belief that the new world is India failed by another voyage of Magellan. However, his founding introduced another unknown continent which changes the whole wide world completely and radically. More than often, we young generation can come up with new thoughts owing to the fact we have underwent better education and life experience. We have the right to give voice to what we believe is right. It is inevitable that this road does not go as we expected in that this demands more commitment and sacrifice.（層二） Besides, what our predecessors or authorities achieved did go through up and down. Thus, they are deserved the respect we are supposed to bestow. But the only thing we need to struggle for and never regret is finding the truth no matter what it ends.（層三）

第二層是重點(diǎn)：首先說出了事件的結(jié)果是失敗的，然后他的新發(fā)現(xiàn)并沒有白費(fèi)，而是帶來了一個(gè)全新的版塊——美洲大陸。后面直接聯(lián)系到我們年輕人，目的是讓考官知道自己沒有跑題，而且緊跟高中生所關(guān)注的事情。不要輕易被權(quán)威所打倒，要說出自己的心聲。

第三層是延伸：用一個(gè)類似于讓步的形式，表示自己觀點(diǎn)的客觀性，我們的先輩經(jīng)歷了很多，付出了很多，理應(yīng)值得尊重，也就是當(dāng)下特別時(shí)髦的向某人致敬，那么最后再次回到我們的立場，要質(zhì)疑和具有創(chuàng)新精神。
