題目： It is more important to have rules about the types of clothing that people wear at work and at school.

Should restrictions be enforced on the types of clothing to be worn at work and at school? From my view, the answer is positive. These rules could definitely help create the most suitable working and studying environment for staffs and students. As a consequence, even though not all schools or companies have designed uniforms for their members, it is a must to formulate related disciplines that clarify what kinds of clothing are strictly prohibited during working and studying hours.

First of all, suitable dressing styles on formal occasions remind employees and students to concentrate more on their duties. Admittedly, the pursuit of good looks is a focus of every individual. Yet paying too much attention to fashionable clothing might negatively affect work and studies. Needless to say, trying to follow fashion every day is not only a waste of time, but also proves energy-consuming. If related rules are issued by company and school authorities, employees and students will be obliged to dress formally without having to care excessively about their outward appearances. For example, professional suits may be the best choice for office clerks. In most cases school uniforms are the only type of clothing permitted to wear on campuses. Thus, students need not consider how to wear clothing uniquely and beautifully. Anyway, offices and schools are places for people to perform their tasks rather than to show off their personal taste of dressing styles. Attentiveness is of paramount importance to enhance working and learning efficiency.

Bes ides, dressing rules help display favorable images to the public. As important social organs, enterprises and schools shoulder the responsibility to exhibit their overall qualities to the masses. Suppose everyone is allowed the freedom to choose his own styles of clothing: there might be a n emergence of eccentric styles that could severely damage the good image of an entire organization. Keeping to the modest principles of clothing styles is absolutely a best way to maintain the original essences of these social units

Notwithstanding, obeying rules of dress at work at and school does not mean the complete denial of fashion and beauty. Every social member is entitled to possess good looks. Therefore, it is highly advisable that designers and clothing manufacturers try their best to design special styles of working suits or uniforms that appear more fashionable and attractive.

In sum, there is every reason to believe that setting rules about conservative dress helps ensure the maintenance of a suitable atmosphere for working and learning. It should be a basic obligation for people to obey these rules. Meanwhile, all social units ought to make unremitting efforts to supervise the smooth implementation of these principles. Only in this way can a suitable environment be established.
