雅思口語要想考官眼前一亮，詞匯的多樣性和表達(dá)的豐富性必不可少。沖破5.5分魔咒，就用這些詞替換掉一些大家都會用的表達(dá)方式吧！
1. want to do sth → be long for/to do sth 等
我們在表達(dá)「想要做某事」時(shí)，除了用I want to之外，還可以用:
·be long for/to do sth
·I hope/wish/expect that…
·I am hoping that…
·Hopefully, I would/could…
· I expect that…
I’m long for a big house.
我想要一個大房子。
2. try one's best → spare no efforts to do
I'll spare no efforts to (try my best to) do a good job on my post.
我將在我的崗位不遺余力把工作做好。
3. 形容詞 → be of + 名詞
我們可以用 be of + 名詞的形式來替換形容詞，這樣要比直接用形容詞更高級。
It is of great importance to me. (It is important to me.)
它對我來說很重要。
4. good → excellent等
good 是用途最廣泛的形容詞之一，只要是表示「好」就可以用 good 來形容。但是除了 good 之外，還可以用以下詞匯表示「好」：
·excellent 極好的
·amazing 令人驚奇的
·wonderful 精彩的
·marvelous 極好的
·fantastic 非常棒的
5. think of → occur
It occurred to me (I think) that someone had broken into my house.
我突然想到有人闖入了我的房子。
6. spend → devote
He devotes all his spare time to reading. (spent...in...)
他把所有空余的時(shí)間都用來讀書。
7. ordinary → average
I'm an average(ordinary)student.
我是一個普通的學(xué)生。
8. very → but
The Film we saw last night was very interesting.
The film we saw last night was nothing but interesting.
我們昨天晚上看的電影非常有趣。
9. should → suppose
He is supposed to(should)have driven more slowly.
他應(yīng)該開慢一點(diǎn)。
10. thank → appreciate
Thank you very much for your help.
We appreciate your help very much.
非常感謝你的幫助！
11. true → the case
I don't think it is the case(true).
我認(rèn)為這是不對的。
12. as soon as → on
As soon as he arrived,he began his research.
On his arrival,he began his research.
他一來就開始了他的研究。
13. because of → due to
He arrived late due to(because of) the storm.
因?yàn)樯硥m暴他到晚了。
14. be helpful/ useful → contribute to
Shadowing is undoubtedly helpful to English study.
Shadowing contributes to English study.

15. coming soon/ nearby → round the corner
The summer vacation is round the corner(coming soon).
暑假快到了。
Li Ming studies in a school round the corner(nearby).
李明在附近的一所學(xué)校讀書。
16. discover → come to light
Iris was so pleased when she discovered the lost jewels.
Iris was so pleased when the lost jewels came to light.
當(dāng)Iris發(fā)現(xiàn)丟失的珠寶時(shí)，她很高興。
17. very → more than
I'm very glad to learn that you are coming in September.→
I'm more than glad to learn that you are coming in September.
當(dāng)我知道你九月要來我非常高興。
18. help → do sb a/the favor
Would you please do me the favor(help me) to turn down the radio?
你能幫我關(guān)掉收音機(jī)嗎？
19. a few days ago → the other day
The other day my brother and I went to the cinema by bicycle.
幾天前我和弟弟騎自行車去看了電影。
20. be made up of → consist of
Our class consists of (is made up or )50 students.
我們班有50個學(xué)生。
