雅思口語Part2話題-手機(jī)（2018年9至12月）

手機(jī)在我們的生活中扮演者越來越重要的位置，在雅思考試當(dāng)中也越來越多的被提及，所以在本期，新通教育老師李珺為大家提供一些關(guān)于手機(jī)這個話題的思路，希望能給正在備考雅思的同學(xué)們帶來幫助。

這一季考試雖然已經(jīng)結(jié)束，大家已經(jīng)在翹首期盼下一季題目的到來，但是Sissi還是想要對本季題目當(dāng)中的一些多說幾句話。所以本次文章選定了“手機(jī)”這個話題。和它相似的還有關(guān)于網(wǎng)絡(luò)、上網(wǎng)等話題。大家千萬不要覺得的題目就是那些了!雅思口語是一直會跟著時事來改變的!所以下次如果被問到了“科技”“太空”“社交網(wǎng)絡(luò)”的話題，也是再正常不過的了。不過本期文章Sissi想要討論的是手機(jī)對我們的孩子帶來的害處!像往期一樣，學(xué)習(xí)語言點(diǎn)的同時，積累一些素材使用吧!

Scientists in $300m study say children risk low IQs and poor cognitive function by spending hours on smart phones. Children who use screens for seven hours or more a day are showing signs that their brain cortex is thinning prematurely.

The findings show that children are at risk of deteriorating memory function, perception skills, and cognitive abilities, according to a new major U.S. study. The ongoing $300million research is funded by the National Institute of Health and shows the result of the effects of technology on children.

The aim of the study, called Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD), is also to show how screen time affects emotional development and mental health.

Researchers made the early findings by scanning the brains of 4,500 children. Scientists are in the process of following more than 11,000 nine to ten-year-olds over the course of a decade. The researchers also determined that children who spend more than two hours of daily screen time score lower on thinking and language tests. The brain cortex is the outermost layer of neural tissue that processes information from the physical world. It is critical for cognitive functions such as perception, language, memory, and consciousness but thins as we mature into old age.

Though the difference was significant from participants who spent less time using smart devices, the study director cautioned against drawing a conclusion.

智能手機(jī)在很明顯的程度上增加了我們生活的便利，這是在問題中大多數(shù)學(xué)生經(jīng)常談?wù)摰降�，有時候甚至答題變成了套路;但是手機(jī)也同時帶來了不可避免的缺失，其實在回答時也可以說到，尤其是在part3中。

手機(jī)對于大腦的影響可能不僅僅針對于兒童，對于我們每個人來說又何嘗不是一種災(zāi)害呢?所以說，科技的進(jìn)步真的會帶來演化的升級嗎?
