一、雅思小作文的關(guān)鍵詞

1.各類圖表的說法

圖：chart, graph（雅思寫作中完全等價(jià)，無差別）

線：line / curve chart

柱圖：bar / column graph

餅：pie chart

表：table / statistics / figures

雅思小作文可以用的句子

并列句：The line chart shows that … and the bar graph illustrates that …（分別描述兩幅圖，第一幅圖用chart，第二副圖用graph；第一幅圖shows，第二副圖illustrates，也許你寫的所有文章都類似，但考官只有機(jī)會(huì)欣賞一篇啊。）

2.表示增長(zhǎng)/減少：

動(dòng)詞 ：increase / decrease, rise/drop（可做名詞）；go up / come down；climb / slide；ascend / decline；

rocket /plunge（暴增/暴減）

名詞： a sharp / slow / great / slight increase；an upward / rising / increasing tendency；a downward / falling / decreasing trend

A. in inverse proportion to... 成反比地

The amount of money people save increases in inverse proportion to the amount they spend.人們省下的錢和他們花出的錢呈反比地上升。

B.in proportion to... 成正比地

The amount of energy consumed in this factory is in proportion to its number of products.這家工廠消耗的能源和它生產(chǎn)的產(chǎn)品數(shù)量成正比。

升降速度/幅度（去掉-ly就是形容詞）

快：quickly / rapidly / swiftly

慢：slowly / gradually / steadily

大：greatly / vastly / considerably / substantially

�。簊lightly / marginally / minutely

3、表示時(shí)間

from … to … / between … and …

during the period from … to … / between … and … / starting from ….

4.表示數(shù)字的變化趨勢(shì)

keep / remain / maintain unchanged / constant / stable（保持不變）

fluctuate upward / downward（波動(dòng)向上/向下）

double / triple / quadruple（2/3/4倍）

the corresponding figure(某個(gè)數(shù)字)在另一組數(shù)據(jù)中所對(duì)應(yīng)的數(shù)字

例如：While spending increased for equipment and insurance, there were corresponding drops in expenditure on things such as books and on workers’salaries.設(shè)備與保險(xiǎn)的支出增加，而書籍和工人工資等費(fèi)用則出現(xiàn)了相應(yīng)的減少。

5.主體段的表達(dá)方式

According to the line chart,……根據(jù)上面的線圖

As is shown in the line chart,……正如圖中所示

The line chart shows that …

… is revealed in the line chart and … is indicated in the bar graph.

例句：The line chart reveals visits to and from Britain and the bar graph indicates most fashionable nations for UK tourists in 1999.

6.表示邏輯的承接連詞：

順承：also, besides, in addition

轉(zhuǎn)折：however, in contrast

其它：meanwhile / in the same time, similarly, in particular

Interestingly, ... 有趣的是，……

Interestingly，when there are three or more children in the household，men are found to work even fewer hours around the house.

有趣的是，當(dāng)家里 有三個(gè)或更多的孩子的時(shí)候，男人往往卻會(huì)減少在家里千活的時(shí)間。

Not surprisingly, ... 相應(yīng)很自然的是，……

Not surprisingly, the number of cases of the disease dropped to approximately 1,700 in 2008.很自然地，這種病的病例數(shù)在2008年降到了大約1700。

while 而同時(shí)，經(jīng)常用于在復(fù)雜句中引導(dǎo)從句，與主句構(gòu)成對(duì)比

More men than women hold qualifications at the lower and higher levels of education while more women reach undergraduate diploma level than men.越來越多的女性擁有本科學(xué)歷，而男性則更多地集中在更高或更低的學(xué)歷區(qū)間中。
