托福寫作有“不動腦筋”又“有趣”的方法嗎？

開頭的主要作用是給出明確主旨（thesis）。

由此，一些同學(xué)就直接開寫，

in my opinion, I agree with the statement that…

這樣的開頭當然形式上是可以的，不過在字數(shù)上，和閱讀的樂趣上都不足，給考官的第一印象就比較一般。

還有一些同學(xué)，按部就班地按照開頭模版的步驟，如題目引入、他人觀點、己方觀點、信息鋪墊的順序?qū)�，如題：

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement that TV has destroyed communication among friends and family?

 It has been heatedly debated that whether TV has destroyed communication among friends and family.(題目引入)

Some argues that the introduction of TV has definitely reduce the time for family members to communicate. (他人觀點)

However, from my perspective, TV has played a positive role in the inter-relationship among friends and family. (己方觀點)

My reasons and examples are given below. (信息鋪墊) 

這樣寫呢，字數(shù)上比較合適（不會給后續(xù)主體段帶來太多字數(shù)壓力）。不過讀起來比較生硬，像完成任務(wù)。

是不是可以在這個基礎(chǔ)上增加一些特點和新意，給考官留下一些更好的觀感呢？ 

當然是可以的！

我們可以在題目引入之前，增加一句或兩句相關(guān)的背景信息，這樣可以讀起來更連貫，同時也更具有內(nèi)容上的靈活性。

 同一道題：

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement that TV has destroyed communication among friends and family? 

我們?nèi)绻�以電視作為突破口，背景句可以這么寫：

In contemporary society, technology has become increasingly sophisticated, making TV programs more intriguing and fascinating than before.

當然，我們也可以選取communication作為引入方向：

As we all know, relationships are developed and maintained by frequent communication.

甚至，friends and family也已可以作為起始點：

Friends and family are two great sources of joy and encouragement. Thus, a proper amount of time should be assigned to them.

細心的同學(xué)已經(jīng)發(fā)現(xiàn)，我們比較容易從題目中的名詞提取出背景句：TV, communication, friends and family。

但是如果題目很難提取出合適的名詞又該怎么辦？

例如：

Taking a lot of time to make an important decision used to be considered as a bad quality of a person to have, but now, it is considered as a good quality of a person.

 我們可以把題目中Taking a lot of time to make an important decision的內(nèi)容歸納成一個名詞: notion，由此可以展開背景句。

As the society moves forward, some traditionally accepted notions are increasingly being challenged. Among them is the saying that one should make an important decision carefully.
