托�？谡Z其中重要的評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)之一就是論據(jù)展開的能力（topic development），需要學(xué)生有一定的邏輯展開來進(jìn)行論述. 本次來講解論述的基本概念：句子的功能

首先要熟知句子的三種基本功能：

1. 作為論點(diǎn)句

2. 作為論述句

3. 作為推進(jìn)句

a. 其中論點(diǎn)句就是開始提出的基本觀點(diǎn)，如“I think it is better for students to live on campus rather than off campus”

b. 論述句就是來進(jìn)一步來論述上面論點(diǎn)的內(nèi)容，給出一個(gè)基本的reason來支持自己的觀點(diǎn),這個(gè)理由可以是較具有邏輯緊密性的（比如

because I think it can provide students with the safe campus environment）;也可以是不具備較為緊密的邏輯的（比如：

I think students can make more friends in this way）；還可以是一個(gè)個(gè)人的例子或者研究發(fā)現(xiàn)（personal example or research findings）

c. 推進(jìn)句: 當(dāng)論點(diǎn)句使用了邏輯不緊密的論述時(shí)候：例如上文

“I think it is better for students to live on campus rather than off campus because think students can make more friends in this way”這時(shí)候需要加入一個(gè)推進(jìn)句使得“live on campus”和

“make more friends”邏輯更為緊密的連接起來，比如“if students live on campus, they are able to have more opportunities to meet a lot of students with whom they can communciate”

三種句子的熟練使用是強(qiáng)化論述能力的核心。
