　　Which of the following would you like to learn?Playing the piano, swimming or repairing a car? Explain why. Please include details and examples in your explanation.
　　I  would like to choose repair a car since it is pretty important to identify and fix a car problem. Today’s cars are advanced and complicated. There are so many switches on the panel that I’m not familiar with.  If l learn how to repair a car, I will have a deeper understanding of car and be a better driver.  As to the piano, I am not fond of music. So learning to play the piano will be a torture for me. When it comes to swimming, I am already a veteran swimmer.

　　Some people prefer to buy new books while others prefer to buy used ones. Which do you prefer? Please include details and examples in your explanation.
　　I would prefer to buy new books. First there are many blank spaces for me to take notes on the new books. I like taking notes while reading so I really need those empty spaces. But with used books, they are written with notes or even with graffiti. I can not write down my thoughts clearly and fully. Second, news books are clean with less bacteria. They are touched with few people which means fewer chances of being contaminated. However, you don’t know whether your used books are second-hand or even ten-hand. Whichever the case, they are too dirty to be used.

　　A  students has a proposal that school should offer a shuttle bus to town for freshmen. Firstly, freshmen don’t have cars and they are unfamiliar with the town. Secondly, making senior students as guides would allow the freshmen to strengthen the relationship with them. 
　　In the conversation,the woman is all for the proposal. The campus is located outside the city and there is no public transportation. For example, she likes music and concerts. But when she was in her first year, she had no chance to enjoy the concert coz she did not where the music hall was. In addition, with the explanation of senior students, students will never have a better understanding and a deeper bonding with them.

　　Usually, company employ veteran workers to train greenhands. But reverse training is that new workers train the experienced.
　　For example, one of the professor’s friend works in a publishing firm. He neither used the internet nor the email. Then a new worker came into the company. The new worker taught him how to search for information for research purposes which greatly improved his work efficiency.

　　Beth wanted to visit her friend but she does not know which form of transportation to choose.
　　There are two possible solutions for her.
　　First she could go there by car but it’s hard for her to find parking lot.
　　Second, she may go there by bus though it takes a big chunk of time and she can not have dinner with her friends.
　　I think solution one is a better choice. In this way, she may enjoy a free trip as she could drive to any place. As long as she is patient, she can always find a parking space.

　　omnivorous animals have two ways to avoid getting sick when they eat unfamiliar food.
　　First, they will bite a little to see if it is safe to eat. For instance, the rats will only try little food for the first time. After some time, if there is no problem, they will go back to the food
　　Second, if a small bite is also poisonous, they will eat other things for  detoxifcation. If the rat eats something toxic, they will eat clay and soil to absorb the poison. This kind of clay will react to the poison and help the rat release bad substances.
