分類法 A=(B,C,…)

Example 1：

Some people think all old buildings should be destroyed and replaced with modern buildings. Do you agree or disagree?

提示：應(yīng)該拆的和不應(yīng)該拆的

Para.1 Introduction 背景介紹，現(xiàn)在城市里老房子很多.人們對是否要拆掉有爭議(There are a vast number of old structures in cities today. Whether they should be demolished is a controversial issue.)

Para.2 提出一些老房子應(yīng)該拆，分論點可以寫兩點：比如老房子不安全(unsafe)或者影響

市容(spoil the cityscape)

Para.3 另外一些老房子不能拆。這一段可以寫三個分論點，可以再次使用分類法，比如分成有特殊歷史意義的老房子(buildings of historic value),非常漂亮的老房子(gorgeous historic buildings)和特殊的民居(unique ethnic architecture)等等

Para.4 Conclusion結(jié)論：有些老房子由于城市發(fā)展必須拆掉，但是有特殊價值的不能拆，反而應(yīng)該有效保護(should be effectively preserved)

Example 2：

Some high-school graduates go to travel or work for a period of time before they go to study in universities. Discuss advantages and disadvantages of this practice to their studies in university.

提示：我們可以按照學(xué)生的不同學(xué)科討論，把討論對象(high-school students) 分成準備學(xué)文科的學(xué)生(high-school graduates who plan to study humanities or social science in university)和準備學(xué)理工科的學(xué)生(high-school graduates who intend to study science and engineering in university)兩大類。

替代法 A→B,C,D

原理：當我們發(fā)現(xiàn)題目當中出現(xiàn)-est，only或者ban/stop這類詞匯的時候，就可用替代法。它們的共同點是它們的語氣都很絕對，這樣的命題在邏輯上多半站不住腳，舉幾個反例就可以證明其錯

Example 1:

Some people think motorized flight was the greatest invention in the 20th century and it has the biggest impact on our lives. To what extent do yo agree or disagree?

Para.1 Introduction 背景介紹，說現(xiàn)在飛機被廣泛使用(are used extensively),但它到底是不是20世紀最偉大的發(fā)明人們尚有爭議(is highly debatable)

Para.2 讓步段，先承認飛機是一種很偉大的發(fā)明(Admittedly, motorised flight was a groundbreaking invention in the twentieth century), 接下來舉兩點分論點支持，比如它促進國際貿(mào)易(promote international business)，促進文化交流(international cultural communication).

Para.3 舉反例，證明它并不是最偉大的發(fā)明(However, there were inventions even more influential than motorised flight)比如，computers

Para.4 結(jié)論，motorised fligt是20世紀偉大的發(fā)明之一，但是還有比它對人類影響更大的發(fā)明 雅思寫作技巧

Example 2:

Some people think stricter punishment for driving offenders is the only effective way to improve safety on the roads. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Para.1 Introduction

Para.2 讓步段(Admittedly, giving driving offenders stricter punishment contributes to the improvement of road safety.)

Para.3舉反例(On the other hand, there are plenty of other choices that can improve safety on the roads.), 比如，管理行人(pedestrians),提高警察的工作效率，改善道路

Para.4 結(jié)論，只管理司機是不夠的，需要整個社會的努力
