新SAT數(shù)學題目分析及策略

新SAT數(shù)學題目，最明顯的表現(xiàn)是題目長度大大增加，單詞難度加大，長句出現(xiàn)頻率增加，這對學生的閱讀能力和速度提出了更高的要求。

1、閱讀量增加

新SAT數(shù)學平均每道題字數(shù)增長約10個字左右，最長的題有330字。與美國學生相比，以往中國學生贏在數(shù)學知識和計算能力，但中國學生在專業(yè)英語詞匯量、與實際生活聯(lián)系、邏輯思維、批判性思維閱讀上與美國學生存在很大差距。在單詞方面，學生首先要對數(shù)學專業(yè)詞匯以及常見表達熟練掌握，同時在平常也需要更多積累其他STEM相關(guān)領(lǐng)域詞匯和背景知識。針對題目中的長句，則需要快速理解題意辨識出考查的知識點，然后分析句子結(jié)構(gòu)，迅速剝離出與解題相關(guān)的數(shù)據(jù)信息。包括題目最后的問題也會經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)在長句中，如果句子沒有讀懂，那么很有可能會減緩做題速度甚至會影響解題切入點。

例題：

An online store receives customer satisfaction ratings between 0 – 100, inclusive. In the first 10 ratings the store received, the average (arithmetic mean) of the ratings was 75. What is the least value the store can receive for the 11th rating and still be able to have an average of at least 85 for the first 20 ratings.

題目主要意思為：一家在線商店會收到評分為0-100分之間的顧客滿意度評價，收到的前10個評價得分平均為75，如果要保證前20個評價的平均得分為85，商店收到的第11個評價的最少為多少分？

在這道題中，商店需要計算好評率。這類題我們都可以看做“應(yīng)用題”，解答應(yīng)用題首先需要將題目給出的情境抽象化：在0-100中先按順序選擇10個數(shù)，他們的平均數(shù)為75，如果再依次選擇10個數(shù)，為了保證這20個數(shù)的平均數(shù)為85，第11個數(shù)最少應(yīng)該是幾？

 2. 題目的內(nèi)容和形式更加多樣化：

與實際生活、工作相結(jié)合。這就需要備考者積累與留心社會常識與經(jīng)驗。

例題：

A bank has opend a new branch and ,as part of a promotion, the bank branch is offering $1,000 certificates of deposit at an interst rate of 4% per year, compounded semiannually. The bank is selling certificates with terms of 1,2,3 or 4 years. 解讀：銀行幾乎與每個人的生活都息息相關(guān)，存款利率與收益具體如何計算則是這道題考查的重點。

 3、與STEM，美國社會科學知識等領(lǐng)域緊密相關(guān)

要求：具備相應(yīng)的科學背景知識、信息處理能力，以及邏輯推理能力

例題：

The speed of a sound wave in air depends on the air temperature. The formula above shows the relationship between a, the speed of a sound wave, in feet per second, and t, the air temperature, in degrees Fahrenheit (°F). Which of the following expresses the air temperature in terms of the speed of a sound wave?
