Some People think playing computer games is bad for children on everything? Others think it has some Positive impacts on the way children develop. What is your opinion?
這篇雅思大作文題目難度并不大,關(guān)于computer games的話題,大部分學(xué)生都是有話可講的,因此我們可以比較容易找到切入點(diǎn)。在審?fù)觐}之后,我們需要確定自己的總觀點(diǎn),那么對(duì)于前面一種人的觀點(diǎn):playing computer games is bad for children on everything顯得過(guò)于絕對(duì)。相比較而言,第二種觀點(diǎn)it has some Positive impacts on the way children develop顯得相對(duì)比較客觀,因此建議選擇后者更利于我們的寫作。因?yàn)閷懽魑牡脑瓌t應(yīng)該是選擇好寫的,而不是想寫的。
文章結(jié)構(gòu):
第一段是開(kāi)頭段,如果同學(xué)們自己有去看一些雅思考官給出的雅思作文范文,大家就會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)開(kāi)頭段只需要兩句話:第一句針對(duì)題目進(jìn)行改寫,第二句亮明自己的觀點(diǎn)。
第二三兩段是主體段,第二段先寫playing computer games帶來(lái)的一些negative effects,第三段寫computer games帶來(lái)的一些positive influences.兩個(gè)主體段分別從兩個(gè)點(diǎn)去展開(kāi),從兩個(gè)方面去展開(kāi)比較容易把文章的詞數(shù)寫滿,比如negative effects大家可以分別從academic performance和physical health進(jìn)行展開(kāi),而positive influences大家就可以從foster children’s ability to cooperate with others和make children much more intelligent來(lái)展開(kāi)。
說(shuō)到展開(kāi),有的同學(xué)又會(huì)說(shuō),我不會(huì)展開(kāi),每次要展開(kāi)的時(shí)候我就不知道自己能夠怎樣來(lái)寫。其實(shí)展開(kāi)是一個(gè)比較簡(jiǎn)單的過(guò)程,大家在展開(kāi)的時(shí)候只需要不停地問(wèn)自己為什么就可以了,我下面要講到的問(wèn)自己為什么的方法就能夠幫助大家將中心句展開(kāi)來(lái)。舉個(gè)栗子,當(dāng)我們?cè)谥v電腦游戲的negative influences的時(shí)候,針對(duì)中心句:Playing computer games may affect children’s academic performance adversely. 我們?cè)谡归_(kāi)的時(shí)候,只需要問(wèn)問(wèn)自己為什么玩游戲會(huì)影響孩子們的學(xué)習(xí)?
答案是:孩子們會(huì)沉迷游戲,花了過(guò)多時(shí)間在游戲上面。繼續(xù)問(wèn)自己為什么,也就是問(wèn)自己孩子為什么會(huì)沉迷于游戲中呢?答案是:孩子們?nèi)狈ψ钥啬芰,并且容易被新鮮的事物所吸引。再繼續(xù)問(wèn)為什么,孩子們?yōu)槭裁慈狈ψ钥亓δ?答案也許是:孩子們年紀(jì)太小。 大家現(xiàn)在明白怎么去展開(kāi)了嗎?展開(kāi)就是圍繞中心句不斷往前提問(wèn),然后再順著寫回來(lái)即可,那么思路也是非常清晰的。
第四段是結(jié)尾段,只需要一句話把自己的總觀點(diǎn)再重申一下即可。
大家在寫雅思大作文的時(shí)候一定要注意,文章的詞匯不要為了高大上刻意去套用一些生僻的詞,這樣會(huì)導(dǎo)致文章的選詞不夠準(zhǔn)確,文章讀起來(lái)也會(huì)較難懂,大家應(yīng)該重點(diǎn)放在句式的豐富多樣性上面,學(xué)了各種從句大家可以下意識(shí)地把這些語(yǔ)法點(diǎn)運(yùn)用起來(lái),就比如大家喜歡用I think that…的賓語(yǔ)從句,其實(shí)表達(dá)相同意思你也可以選擇my opinion is that的表語(yǔ)從句.
具體寫法如下,大家可以參考:
People have different views about whether games exert positive influences on children’s development. While it is argued by some people that computer games only bring children negative influences, my view is that students can also benefit from playing online games.
There are two reasons why playing computer games is detrimental in some aspects. The first plain truth I am presenting here is that spending too much time on computer games may harm children’s physical health. If teenagers sit in the front of computers for too much time without working out, they may unavoidably develop some diseases, like obesity and so on. In addition to this, computer games may lead poor academic performances. Children who lack self controlling may easily be attracted by innovative things and neglect their study, and being obsessed with computer games may affect children’s study adversely.
However, the benefits brought by computer games cannot be ignored. On the one hand, computer games can develop children’s intelligence. There are many excellent computer games which are designed by game companies carefully, such as Super Mario, and these games can spark children’s imagination and develop their logical ability, which can aid students learn academic subjects faster and better. Plus, computer games can cultivate students’ ability to cooperate with others. Instead of playing computer games alone, in many games, like Dota, students need to cooperate with their peers closely, if they want to achieve the final success, and the ability to collaborate with others is extremely imperative in their future career.
To put it into a nutshell, given the sagacious reasons discussed above, we can clearly see that while playing computer games unavoidably brings some disadvantages to children, it also exert some positive impacts on children.
