有了網(wǎng)絡(luò)以后，人們看劇習慣發(fā)生巨大改變，還有誰會乖乖坐在電視機前，一天一集苦等電視劇呢，都等網(wǎng)上“養(yǎng)肥了”再看。

于是，在煲劇一族的推動下，binge-watch一詞當選了柯林斯詞典的2015年年度熱詞。

Binge-watch什么意思

Binge-watch并非最近才造出的詞（new coinage），它在上世紀90年代已經(jīng)開始使用。

Binge一詞的意思是狂歡作樂、無節(jié)制的狂熱行為。

所以，binge-watch就是瘋狂看劇。

柯林斯詞典給出的釋義是：

Binge-watch: to watch a large number of television programmes (especially all the shows from one series) in succession.連續(xù)大量觀看電視節(jié)目（尤其是一季電視劇的全部劇集）。

也可貼切地譯為“煲劇”、“刷劇”。

Binge-viewing或marathon-viewing可表達同樣的意思。

沉溺于劇集中的追劇狂人們則可稱為：binge-watcher↓↓↓

詞典編撰人員發(fā)現(xiàn)，在去年一年，binge-watch的使用頻率增加了200%。

由于Netflix和天空電視臺的Now TV等提供的訂閱服務(wù)以及Tivo等“智能”數(shù)字視頻錄像設(shè)備的存在，粉絲們可以隨時觀看自己想看的節(jié)目，而且想看多久就看多久。

▌manspreading 大爺式占座
The act or an instance of a male passenger in a bus or train splaying his legs in a way that denies space to the passenger sitting next to him.
這個詞指的是公交車或地鐵里的男乘客雙腿大張，霸占座位，使得別的乘客無法坐他的鄰座的行為或現(xiàn)象。

 
▌Clean eating 清潔飲食
A diet of "clean eating" refers to one which avoids processed foods and is heavy in raw and unrefined produce.
“清潔飲食”這種飲食方式指的是不吃加工食品，大量攝入生的、未經(jīng)加工的天然農(nóng)產(chǎn)品。

▌Ghosting 玩失蹤的分手方式
Ending a relationship by ignoring all communication from the other person.
以徹底忽視對方一切消息的方式結(jié)束一段戀情。（等于直接拉黑。）

▌Shaming 羞辱
Attempting to embarrass a person or group by drawing attention to their perceived offence, especially on social media.
通過讓人們圍觀某人或某個群體不光彩的事情，以讓對方感到羞恥，通常發(fā)生在社交媒體上。
 
“我在瑜伽墊上拉粑粑了。”國外網(wǎng)友玩得不亦樂乎的dog shaming或cat shaming，惡搞自己的寵物。

The economic policies advocated by the UK Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
英國工黨領(lǐng)袖杰里米•科爾賓主張的經(jīng)濟政策。

The landslide of coverage of Jeremy Corbyn's successful campaign for leadership of the UK Labour Party catapulted this new word into the list of words of 2015.
媒體對杰里米•科爾賓成功當選英國工黨領(lǐng)袖一事鋪天蓋地的報道使這個新詞一躍進入2015熱詞榜單。
