1) in fashion:流行，時(shí)髦

e.g. Long shirts for women are no longer in fashion.

in a fashion:勉強(qiáng)，不大好

e.g. She can play the piano in a fashion.

2) in hospital:住院

e.g.: His mother was in hospital.

in the hospital:在醫(yī)院里

e.g.: She works in the hospital.

3) a big time：盡興，高興的時(shí)刻

e.g. I had a big time there.
