Q1. Do you know how to make (prepare) a meal?
A1.Yes, actually I'm really good at it.I enjoy the process of cooking very much, you know, from choosing raw materials, to cooking, and setting the table and serving...Everything makes me concentrated and that feels really good.
Q2.What kinds of machines are used for cooking in modern homes in your country? How have these machines benefited people?
A2.Common types of kitchen appliances in China include, electric food steamer, microwave oven, induction cooktop, pressure cooker, electric rice cooker, etc. These machines make cooking easier than ever.For example, most electric pressure cookers today can automatically adjust pressure and temperature while locking in flavours as well as nutrients. That is to say, with them, you’re gonna create tasty food, safer and faster. Also they often comes with other features like a DELAY TIMER or a KEEP WARM button.
Q3.Do you think it’s important for children to learn how to cook?
A3.Yes, definitely.For kids, knowing how to cook doesn’t means simply learning a certain kind of practical skill, I mean, like, cutting, slicing, boiling, stewing, frying, ect., ect.As a matter of fact, how you cook also determines how nutritious your diet is. For example, we all know that vegetables like green peppers and broccolis are rich in Vc; Yet if you boil or fry it for over 2 min, more than half of the substance will have lost away.It is just crucial for the kids to know such things as well.
