托福聽力conversation常見場景及詞匯

托福聽力的Conversation題目相對lecture來說比較簡單，但是它的特點是語速快（point易漏），那么我們需要記下學生問答、自問自答、評論、例子和一些廢話。以下是我從TPO總結的幾個超高頻的conversation場景和一些套路，并加上必備詞匯。

圖書館：

要借書Check out books　
　　需要借書卡 admission card/library card
　　找書在什么區(qū)　history section/literature section
　　找書目的為了　paper/thesis論文/literature review文獻綜述
　　教授可以預留某書　put the book on reserve
　　要續(xù)借　renew a book   extend borrowing privileges　延長借書權限
　　如果書被召回　be recalled就得及時歸還
　　超期要罰款　fine
　　館際借書　Interlibrary loan service

作業(yè)：

作業(yè)Assignment類型：
　　Case study案例分析　Essay論文 Report報告
　　Group assignment/project　小組任務　Presentation陳述
　　作業(yè)遇到問題：
　　論文話題topic太寬broad——narrow down
　　格式要求format: Abstract/summary摘要Table of content目錄Literature review文獻綜述
　　論文包含的部分：

　　• Conclusion
　　• Work cited/bibliography參考書目
　　• Footnote
　　來不及做 miss deadline：due/overdue需要申請延期ask the professor for an extension
　　論文第一輪初稿first draft給教授過目，教授提意見comment，學生deal with comments/revise，最后定稿final draft

　　學生與獎學金助學金相關的問題咨詢工作人員。 ？
　　常見套路： 
　　（1）咨詢獎學金的種類  （2）獎學金授予的資格：What can be inferred about the qualifications to apply for bursaries（助學金）? （3）如何申請獎學金 （4）獎學金申請的材料 （5）申請到獎學金的可能性  （6）獎學金的網(wǎng)站：What is the student most likely to do after this conversation? ？

選課：
　　課程類型（Lecture 講座，seminar研討會）：
　　1. 必修課required/compulsory course

　　3. 預修課prerequisite course（選高級課之前要修；大一大二的學分會成為你專業(yè)的prerequisite course）
　　學分Credit    完成要求fulfill the requirement

選課流程：注冊register for/sign up for---加入enroll in
　　跟不上課要drop
　　要選適合自己的課程：先初級beginning level/intro course/introductory level再中級intermediate 后高級advanced/upper level
　　跟Chairperson商量怎么plan去fulfill requirement

　　幫教授做volunteer work有可能拿學分extra credit
