在雅思大作文中，例證法作為一種論證手段，經(jīng)常被考生使用。比如劍8第167頁的范文中出現(xiàn)“To do this, we need to improve the choice of public transport services available to travelers. For example, if sufficient sky trains and underground train systems were built and effectively maintained in our major cities, then traffic on the roads would be dramatically reduced.”然而，多數(shù)考生在作文中僅會使用For example和For instance等較為初級的例證手段。新通小編在此提供幾種更為高級的例證標(biāo)志詞供考生學(xué)習(xí)。
一、 普通青年：For example, For instance
值得注意的是，F(xiàn)or example和For instance后面一定跟的是逗號，再加句子，而非中文中的冒號。

A convincing example is that 一個有說服力的例子是……后面加完整的句子。A remarkable example is that 一個顯著的例子是…… 后面也要加完整的句子。比如在今年2月18日的大作文“科技是否使我們的生活變得簡單了”，我們可以寫到“Technological progress has simplified people’s life in weather forecast. A remarkable example is that scientists can analyze weather data transmitted back by weather satellite, forecasting weather condition and even giving warnings on natural disaster in time.”科技的進(jìn)步使氣象預(yù)報變得簡單了。一個明顯的例子是科學(xué)家可以通過分析氣象衛(wèi)星傳輸回的數(shù)據(jù)來預(yù)測天氣，甚至對自然災(zāi)害進(jìn)行及時預(yù)警。
三、 高分青年：There is considerable evidence suggesting that; There is no evidence showing that
There is considerable evidence suggesting that 后面加完整的句子，譯作：有大量的證據(jù)表明……。在今年5月12日的作文題“對犯人進(jìn)行教育和培訓(xùn)是否會更好”這道題中可以用到“Education and Training help prisons master employment skills after being released. There is considerable evidence suggesting that such an action could reduce the rate of repeating crimes.”。There is no evidence showing that后面加完整的句子，譯作：沒有任何證據(jù)顯示……。例如在今年1月12日的作文“政府是否可以在每個城鎮(zhèn)修建免費(fèi)圖書館”這道題中，同學(xué)們可以寫“Some people may argue that it may impose a heavy burden on the government. Actually, there is no evidence showing that building free libraries will cost too much funds of the government.”。
