1. Gutted
不是淡淡的憂傷，而是濃濃的憂傷，憂傷到心灰意冷時(shí)，英國(guó)人用這個(gè)詞兒。
例：His girlfriend broke up with him. He’s absolutely gutted.
女友跟他分手了，他傷心欲絕。
2. Gobsmacked
英語(yǔ)里gob有“嘴”的意思，gobsmacked指目瞪口呆的驚訝，也就是我們說(shuō)的“驚呆了”!
例：I was gobsmacked when she told me she was pregnant with triplets.
她跟我說(shuō)她懷了三胞胎，當(dāng)時(shí)我就驚呆了。
3. Blinding

4. Bugger all

5. Knackered

6. Lose the plot
可以表示生氣、震怒，或者指某人有些失去理智。

7. Damp squib
英文里damp表示“潮濕”，squib是“小炮竹”的意思。小炮竹受潮了，肯定響不了。所以，damp squib意思就是“失敗”、“落空”。
