一、中英文思維差異
中文的語言邏輯會把背景、鋪墊放在前面，最重要的放在最后一句，所謂畫龍點睛；英文的語言邏輯則是開門見山，把背景信息放在后面。
那了解了中西方思維和邏輯的不同之處后，怎樣才能讓自己的表達符合老外的思維呢？我們來一起看看！
通用的答題結(jié)構(gòu)是：觀點+拓展。
我們以一個最基礎(chǔ)的問法 Do you like A？為例，常用答題結(jié)構(gòu)：
a. 喜歡/喜歡 + 喜歡/不喜歡的原因；
b. 喜歡/不喜歡 + 喜歡/不喜歡到什么程度；
下面我們通過考生的回答與老師修改后的回答對比來看一下：
Can you concentrate for a long time?
考生回答：
For me is too difficult, but I think maybe several hours for me is easy to concentrate.
改寫后的回答：
Yes, I think I can concentrate for a long time, well at least for three or four hours in a row. This is how it usually works, when I start studying for a whole day, I usually set myself a specific goal and a time schedule. With that in mind, I will be able to ignore all the distractions and focus on my study.
What kind of books do you like to read in your spare time?
考生回答：
I like a lot of books. I like novels. They are interesting. I usually read novels in my leisure time. I can learn a lot of knowledge from books.
改寫后的回答：
I like to read novels, especially romantic stories. Recently, I have been reading a famous book called "Gone with the Wind". It is really appealing. I like Scarlett, the main character in the novel. She is really energetic.
Are there many advertisements in China?
考生回答：
Sure, in the TV show, you also can see some, many advertising in this TV show.
改寫后的回答：
Yes, indeed. Advertisements are everywhere. Whenever we turn on the TV, look through a newspaper, open the mailbox, or surf the Internet, advertisements will immediately jump into our sight. It's no exaggeration to say that we live in the world of advertisements, and some of them are really lousy.

二、中英文表達差異
中式表達更注重宏觀和抽象，而西式表達注重細節(jié)和形象。不過其實很多烤鴨大概知道自己要說什么，但是表達的過程中總是有種力不從心，詞不達意的感覺。
下面我們再通過考生的回答與老師修改后的回答對比來看一下：
Who is your favorite teacher?
考生的回答：...and he was the teacher of microeconomics. He was so warmhearted that he always introduced us to take part in the projects about our professional course, which made us achieve a lot.
改寫后的回答：
...he used to teach me microeconomics. In his class, he often let us work on case studies, which helped us gain a better understanding of what we had been learning.
Why do so many people want to have their own car?
考生的回答：
...the public transportation only boring them to some destinations that never change, and it's more flexible, which is especially important for those old people, because they have difficulty in walking or riding bicycles.
改寫后的回答：
With their own car, people are able to take the fastest route to their destination. But if they use public transportation, like buses or the subway, they have to transfer a few lines, which can be quite troublesome, especially, for the elderly and the people who are carrying heavy stuff.
