英國(guó)簽證所需語(yǔ)言考試有重大變化

根據(jù)2月22日British Council 英國(guó)文化協(xié)會(huì)發(fā)布的官方消息，英國(guó)政府方面宣布簽證承認(rèn)的語(yǔ)言考試將大大減少，在管理執(zhí)行這些考試上也將引進(jìn)新的要求。從公告信息來(lái)看，雅思考試將獨(dú)挑大梁，托福考試基本上被排除在外，公告原文及解讀如下：

The UK government has announced important changes to language testing for visa applications, reducing the number of tests acceptedfor visa purposes and bringing in new requirements for the way the tests will be administered.

20日官方消息，英國(guó)政府方面宣布簽證承認(rèn)的語(yǔ)言考試將大大減少，在管理執(zhí)行這些考試上也將引進(jìn)新的要求。

IELTS – the world’s most popular test of English for higher education and global migration– has been approved for all UK visas that require applicants to provide proofof their level of English. This continues the important role which IELTS haslong played in language testing for immigration in the UK and other countries,including Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

雅思是世界上用于高等教育和移民語(yǔ)言考試的最受歡迎的一門(mén)test，現(xiàn)在被推崇為任何英國(guó)簽證都可行的語(yǔ)言考試。

Under the new arrangements, IELTS tests for UK visaapplications will be offered throughout the year in more than 100 key locations throughout the world, and a new test – IELTS Life Skills – will be introduced for people who need to prove their speaking and listening skills at level A1or B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

隨后將會(huì)引進(jìn)一門(mén)新的語(yǔ)言考試，IELTS Life Skills，針對(duì)對(duì)象為需要證明說(shuō)和聽(tīng)的能力能達(dá)到CEFR下的A1，B1水準(zhǔn)的群體。

A1：針對(duì)一般移民需要達(dá)到的英語(yǔ)水平規(guī)定，基本的定義為能夠在英國(guó)于當(dāng)?shù)厝诉M(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單的語(yǔ)言交流，能夠聽(tīng)懂一些必要的生活用語(yǔ)，并理解。因此目前申請(qǐng)英國(guó)配偶簽證的移民需要達(dá)到所謂英國(guó)A1的英語(yǔ)等級(jí)水平。相當(dāng)于雅思3.

B1：是2013年10月起英國(guó)內(nèi)政部對(duì)所有永居和入籍申請(qǐng)者規(guī)定的兩項(xiàng)英語(yǔ)測(cè)試之一，另一項(xiàng)則是考察英國(guó)生活知識(shí)的 Life in the UK測(cè)試。嚴(yán)格意義上講，B1并不是英語(yǔ)考試的名稱(chēng)，而是歐盟官方機(jī)構(gòu)在各國(guó)語(yǔ)言的學(xué)習(xí)、教育和測(cè)試方面所采納的簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)為歐盟語(yǔ)言教學(xué)測(cè)試參照框架(CEFR)體系中的等級(jí)之一，永居、入籍要求申請(qǐng)人的聽(tīng)、說(shuō)兩項(xiàng)達(dá)到B1水平。相當(dāng)于雅思4.

什么是CEFR?

歐盟語(yǔ)言教學(xué)測(cè)試參照框架，簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)CEFR，全稱(chēng)The Common European Framework ofReference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment。CEFR體系將語(yǔ)言能力分為三級(jí)：A為基礎(chǔ)使用者；B為獨(dú)立使用者；C為專(zhuān)精使用者。
