2015年1月29日雅思寫作真題回顧
Writing Task 1:
流程圖
The diagram is a detailed illustration of how canned fruit is produced with different materials and facilities used.
In the first stage, farmers pick the fruits from tress. Then, these fruits are transported to factory where degenerative ones are eliminated. After that, good fruits are stored in the cool storage to keep fresh, before going through the washing process. In the next step, these good fruits are weighted and peeled, after which they are divided into slices by knives.
Next, these sliced fruits are extracted into water, juice and syrup and prepared for sealing. Subsequently, the sealed juice is cooked and sterilized by high temperature in order to kill bacteria. Then, the fruit juice is cooked and packed until it is sent to the supermarkets in boxes for sale.
To summarize, the canned fruit production consists of several stages, starting from picking fresh fruits and ending at being sent to supermarkets.

As remote natural places are expected to have plenty of mysteries and resources, there is a growing tendency that both scientists and tourists become involved and interested in setting foot in these spots. In my point of view, the advantages of this development overtake its drawbacks.
To begin with the first benefit, scientists who go to distant natural environments can help deal with an unprecedented resource problem, which can only be tackled by discovering and mining new resources in uncleared areas .These scientists often conduct ground investigation in these remote areas where natural resources, such as coal, oil, are abundant. For example, South pole is known as the container of huge coal and gas reserve. As a result, local resources can be exploited to cater for the use for all the human beings and thus solve some extreme resource urgency in the globe .
Furthermore, tourists traveling around these distant uncontaminated places may realize the fragility and purity of local environment and call for more people to protect its natural scenery. These places are usually out of pollution and are so breathtaking that people are deeply impressed and shocked. Thereafter, these tourists may launch awareness campaign to protect local environment of their own accord. For example, they may raise funds to plant more trees in case of destructive debris flow in local areas.
However, it should be noted that the more people go to these remote unspoiled places, the more harm people may cause to the local environment. Since they have to consume local resources to survive, like logging woods to make fire, these behaviors pose threat to local fragile ecosystem. Sometimes, they may even make such irretrievable mistakes, such as excessive development of resources, that local natural culture is at the edge of extinction. However, this irreparable destruction can be avoided provided that these people are educated decent behaviors before stepping in local land.
To sum up, it is advocated that scientists and tourists visiting these remote natural areas can help tap local natural resources potential and enable more people to have a clear perspective of local natural culture, on condition that they take proper measures and cause least harm to local ecosystem.
