2014雅思口語(yǔ)話題題目：My Favorite Season (Winter)

Of all the four seasons, winter is my favorite. Winter is beautiful, with white snow covering the trees, mountains, rooftops etc. It’s a site to behold. The falling snowflakes give me a sense of calmness and relaxation. Looking at the snow falling is one of my favorite things to do.

In winter, I feel like lying on the white snow without a care in the world and let the snow fall on me. Winter is the season for snowballs. We always have snowball fights with my siblings, mom and dad it’s so much fun.

As a family we compete on who can make the best sculptures using the snow. As a kid I used to hating with snowballs but as, I grew up one of the best things is hitting my dad with the biggest snowball I can make

Many people don’t like winter because its cold and the falling snow that confines them in the house. However, I see this as an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery of falling snow, especially at night with the bright light of the moon. Winter is the season that days are longer and nights short making it even better.

What I like most about winter is being able to see my whole family together. Various festivities are celebrated during winter and as a family, we get to do many fun things together. Most of our family members live in different states and its during the winter season that we get to all see each other.

Winter makes people stay indoors because it’s too cold outside; while many people might see this as a bad thing I like it because I get to spend time with loved ones. In addition, I love skating and the weather in winter makes it possible for me to go skating with my friends

Though many people prefer the warmer seasons like summer, winter is my favorite season. Though it’s a cold season, I enjoy everything that comes with it like skating, various festivities and spending time with family and friends.
