題目分析:
柱圖,動(dòng)態(tài)圖,注重趨勢(shì)及各個(gè)對(duì)象之間的對(duì)比,分段即兩個(gè)圖各寫一段
范文:
The bar charts compare the merchandise imported from or exported to China between 1998 and 2004, and the figures for five categories of commodities in two of the years.
It is noticeable that the value of imports and exports between China and Australia both experienced a dramatic growth over the period, and the figures for China exports are consistently higher than those for China imports. Telecommunication equipment imported from China was the most popular one among all kinds of goods in 2004.
In 1998, there were 20 billion goods imported from China and 10 billion those exported to China. The trade value of commodities that Australia imported from China saw a gradual increase over the next three years, reaching at 30 billion in 2001, and then ending at 40 billion in 2004 with exactly the same value added. Similarly, the figures for exports to China also increased markedly, arriving at 30 billion by the end of the period. In 2004, the goods exported to China tripled that in 1998 in terms of the worth.
In 2003, 3 billion telecommunication equipment was imported from China, and this figure rose considerably by 5 billion over this period. A similar trend can be seen in toys or sports equipment. The value of clothes remained stable in the years 2003 and 2004, while the figures for computers and furniture saw the same rising pattern, at 5 billion in 2003 and 6 billion in 2004.

“be unemployed”, “be employed without a job they enjoy”, which one is better one’s life? |
Job satisfaction vs making a living |
Being unemployed |
Being employed without a job they enjoy |

One of the characteristics of modern work is that people enjoy more freedom in their career options. While it is understandable why some people would choose the jobs they love regardless of financial considerations, I believe that a job with a reasonable income is actually more practical.
On the one hand, I agree that finding a job one have a passion for, even at the risk of being unable to make ends meet, is essential to a promising career development. These people are more likely to make it simply because they choose the way they want to live and never quit. A good example would be Mark Zuckerberg, who refused to end up in a stable job doing repeated and tedious work but launch an internet startup company he is interested in. He is now a billionaire and the CEO of Facebook, and he demonstrates great efforts, determination and ambition, which is required for someone who wants to be truly successful in their chosen field. By contrast, we can hardly imagine a person taking a job only for earning a decent living to achieve any career goals.
Nevertheless, I favor the argument that a man would be better off if he lands a job first and pursue the desirable career afterwards. This is due to the fact that people have to survive in a complex and difficult society no matter they enjoy the work or not. We all need money to pay for housing, food, bills and healthcare, and therefore earning a salary that allows people to cover these basic needs and have a relatively comfortable life should be prioritized, especially for those newly graduates. Without earning a living wage, they may live off their parents or rely on the financial support of government.
In conclusion, I do not believe that it is wise for people to give up their job opportunities simply for not being their first choice, although the happiness from work each of us seek for can sometimes leads us to unexpected fortune.
