一、SAT寫作篇章方面：

1. 認真審題，確保自己是圍繞題目所給的話題展開論述的。這一點是最基本也是最重要的要求，因為跑題意味著你只能拿到零分。
　　2. 清楚地表達自己的觀點。你可以在心里給自己設(shè)問：“What do I want people to understand when they finish reading my essay?”這個問題的答案就是你的觀點，也就是全文的論點。
　　3. 花幾分鐘的時間列提綱。列出你要從哪幾個方面或哪幾點去證明你的觀點，并理順它們之間的邏輯關(guān)系。好的提綱有助于你迅速打開思路，順利寫作，并保證論述緊扣主題。

二、SAT寫作詞句方面：

1. SAT寫作句式要富于變化。這要求你必須了解簡單句(Simple sentences)、并列句(Compound sentences)和復合句(Complex sentences)這三類句法結(jié)構(gòu)的相關(guān)知識，并能運用自如。如：
　�、� My best friend lives two blocks away from me. (Simple sentence)
　�、� My best friend lives two blocks away from me, but her house is much nicer than mine. (Compound sentence)
　�、� Although my best friend lives two blocks away from me, I don’t go to
　　her house very often. (Complex sentence)
　　高分論文幾乎都具備句式多樣化這一特征，因為句式的變化會使文章更加吸引人，也更便于閱讀。

2. SAT寫作用詞要清晰、準確、恰當，避免使用抽象和模糊的詞或表達。比較下面兩句：
　�、� The place where we stopped to eat was full of people dressed up more than we were.
　�、� The restaurant where we stopped for lunch was full of men wearing jackets and ties and women wearing suits and dresses——a noticeable contrast to our jeans and T-shirts.
　　盡管①句語法正確，但過于籠統(tǒng)，讀者并不能明白到底作者說了些什么;而②句使用了更加具體、準確的詞，如restaurant，lunch，jackets等，使讀者頭腦中有清晰的形象感，當然就具備更好的交際功能。

3. 要留點時間復查SAT寫作論文。復查時，快速通讀論文，改正一些明顯的小錯誤——也許是某個詞用得不太恰當，又或許是某個句子的結(jié)構(gòu)還有問題……總之，盡可能及時糾正那些復查時發(fā)現(xiàn)的錯誤。
