A Chinese zoo has unveiled newborn pandatriplets billed as the world's first known surviving trio, in what it hailed asa miracle given the animal's famously low reproductive rate.

中國(guó)一個(gè)動(dòng)物園公布了新生的熊貓三胞胎，它們被稱為是世界上首例存活的熊貓三胞胎。由于熊貓的低繁殖率眾所周知，此案例獲贊奇跡。

The mother, named Juxiao, which means"chrysanthemum smile", delivered the triplets at Guangzhou's Chimelong safari park in theearly hours of 29 July, but was too exhausted to take care of them afterwards.

熊貓三胞胎的母親叫菊笑，這個(gè)名字是“菊花微笑”的意思。7月29號(hào)早些時(shí)候，她在廣州市長(zhǎng)隆野生動(dòng)物園產(chǎn)下了三胞胎，但生產(chǎn)后她已無(wú)力照顧幾只熊貓寶寶。

Her cubs were initially put in toincubators while Juxiao regained her strength, but they have now been broughtback to their mother for nursing and were being attended to by around-the-clock team of feeders, the zoo said on Tuesday.

動(dòng)物園周二稱，在菊笑恢復(fù)體力期間，她的幼仔先被放在了保育器中，不過(guò)，它們現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)被交回給母親養(yǎng)育，還有飼養(yǎng)員團(tuán)隊(duì)全天候照顧它們。

"It was a miracle for us and [thebirths] exceeded our expectations," the safari park's general manager,Dong Guixin, said.

野生動(dòng)物園總經(jīng)理董貴信（DongGuixin）說(shuō)，“這對(duì)我們來(lái)說(shuō)是奇跡，出生的熊貓數(shù)量出乎我們的預(yù)料。”

"It's been 15 days. They have livedlonger than any other triplets so far."

“15天已經(jīng)過(guò)去了。就目前來(lái)說(shuō)，它們存活的天數(shù)已經(jīng)超過(guò)了其他的熊貓三胞胎”。

An official from Sichuan Wolong nationalnature reserve, considered the foremost authority on pandas, said the trio weretoo young to be officially recognised as surviving, but that they were the onlyknown panda triplets alive.

四川臥龍自然保護(hù)區(qū)一名被認(rèn)為在熊貓研究方面最具權(quán)威的官方人士說(shuō)，三胞胎還沒(méi)有長(zhǎng)到足以正式確認(rèn)它們已經(jīng)存活下來(lái)了的程度，但它們是目前所知的僅存的熊貓三胞胎。

"We can only say they are survivingonce they reach six months. For now they are indeed the only survivingtriplets," said an official from the centre.

工作中心的一名公務(wù)人員說(shuō)，“只有等他們長(zhǎng)到6個(gè)月大的時(shí)候，我們才能說(shuō)他們存活下來(lái)了。但就目前來(lái)說(shuō)，他們的確是僅存的熊貓三胞胎”。

Pictures taken earlier this month showedthe cubs inside an incubator with their eyes closed and bodies thinly coveredwith white fur.

The zoo said they weighed between 83 and124 grams (2.9 and 4.4 ounces) and were smaller than the size of a human palmat birth.

動(dòng)物園方面表示，三胞胎的體重在83克到124克之間（即2.9盎司和4.4盎司之間），出生時(shí)，它們還沒(méi)有人的手掌大。
