1. Are there any parks or public gardens where you live?

Of cause, i’m a local here in Hangzhou and there are a couple of gorgeous parks in my city around the West Lake in particular, such as the NO.6 park, Prince Bay and so forth. They are great places where you can enjoy the picturesque natural views, you know, the lake, mountains, plants and so on. And if you are lucky, you may bump into some lovely squirrels who inhabit in one of those trees.

2. Do you think parks or public gardens are important to a city?

Yeah, i do agree that every city should have some parks or public gardens. On one hand, urban citizens seldom have the chance to get closer to nature and parks can provide people with this opportunity to get away from the building and streets and everything. On the other hand, great parks can act as tourist attractions in the city. For example, Hyde Park is a must-go for visitor who are traveling in London.

Sample answer：

Well, personally speaking, one positive event that changed my life is my weight loss story.
　　To tell you the truth, I grew up as an overweight kid. I was easily tired and always felt fatigue to do anything. My playmates always made fun of my size and they even gave me a nickname “cow”, which makes me really depressed and I felt low-esteemed.

So at the age of 13 I made up my mind to loss weight. I made a plan that includes eating less and exercising more. I cut out all high-calorie items from my diet  such as fast food, sweets, etc. In addition, I went to the gym regularly with my friend doing sports like yoga and jogging.
　　The changes were incredible; I lost ten kilograms within one year and now looks slim and full of energy. More importantly, I am healthier than ever before. I feel especially flattered when others can hardly believe I was a much bigger girl. It was really a success to me.
