托福口語獨立任務--現(xiàn)在和將來

隨著經(jīng)濟的發(fā)展，人們的社會生活發(fā)生著重大的變化。你有想過10年以后的生活和現(xiàn)在會有什么不同嗎？這一問題也曾一度成為托福獨立口語考試的熱門話題之一哦。我們先來看看2008年的一個考題：

Sample answer:

I believe my life in ten years will be quite different in many ways, but I'm 100% sure about one thing. I will have my own car in the future.

If possible, I will buy a MINICooper, it's my favorite type. With my own car, my life will be much easier. For example, I have to get up early and catch the first subway train to go to work now. I get tired of standing for almost one hour in a crowded carriage to get to my work place. When I have a car, I don't have to leave home so early and I can enjoy the private space on my way to work.

Besides, on weekends, I can take a trip to some places with my friends without worrying about missing the last subway train at night. We can go around, enjoy the night life, and stay with each other as long as we like.

Moreover, during the Spring Festival, I can get back to my hometown by car to have a get-together with my family. It only takes one hour and the total cost is lower than that of a return ticket.

So this is the biggest difference in my future life.

The world we live in changes quickly, so does my life. I think my life in ten years will be quite different from now at least in the following several aspects:

First thing first, I will finish my overseas study and get my master's degree, and I will have a better understanding of American people and culture. With a deep understanding of how Americans do things, I will have an advantage of finding a job in an American company in China.

Second, I guess I will get married and have my own family. It's amazing to find a soul mate and live together forever. I don't know if I will be a strict mom when I have children. But I believe our home will be filled with their laughter.

Finally, it's time to spend more time with my grandparents. In ten years, they will get old and maybe they will feel lonely. I will visit them more often and make their life more enjoyable.

So these are the big differences in my future life.
