5月29日托福口語(yǔ)Task 1預(yù)測(cè)題目一：

Your community center now offers classes on the weekends for free. Which of the following class will you choose to take: a financial course to help you manage money, car maintenance and repair, or review of Latin-American music?

托�？谡Z(yǔ)Task 1思路拓展：

此題是一個(gè)非高頻話題，可能大家的第一反應(yīng)是Excuse me?這個(gè)問(wèn)題哥連中文都不知怎么回答，更不用說(shuō)英文了好嗎？然而童鞋！此時(shí)你已經(jīng)犯了托福口語(yǔ)考試的第一大忌-不淡定！要知道你們?cè)趦?nèi)心默默吐槽的時(shí)候15秒的準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間也默默飄走了，然后迎來(lái)的就是無(wú)盡的er…和I think，甚至是很長(zhǎng)的留白時(shí)間。

那么到底此題的正確打開(kāi)方式是什么呢？Connie老師的建議是：覺(jué)得哪個(gè)好說(shuō)就順著想下去！千萬(wàn)不要反復(fù)權(quán)衡或者猶豫。

如可能一些同學(xué)覺(jué)得review of Latin-American music 更好說(shuō)一些，沒(méi)問(wèn)題，順著往下想。Music屬于entertainment的一種，好，萬(wàn)能理由：放松；將思路放在另一個(gè)關(guān)鍵詞上，review復(fù)習(xí)，這里我們可以把它理解成簡(jiǎn)單了解學(xué)習(xí)，好，萬(wàn)能理由：拓寬眼界。接下來(lái)要做的就是搭配一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)親身經(jīng)歷的例子或者編兩句就好咯。

托�？谡Z(yǔ)Task 1 Sample answer：

I might wanna take Latin-American music class. One reason is that in the class, I will have more chances to listen to music, which helps to cheer me up when I am exhausted or bored by school work. Plus, since this is a review class, I am quite sure it can broaden my horizon. I mean, I will gain more useful knowledge of Latin-American music and culture in the class, like how this type of music was originated, which song best represents such kind of music and so forth. So compared with other two classes, music course definitely attracts me more.

Well, I might advise my friend to take more part in some social activities like community service, volunteer activity and the alike. There is a good chance to meet some nice people and perhaps they will become our friends later. Take my sister Jane for instance, when she was a teenager, her family moved to shanghai because my uncle got a job promotion. At first, Jane felt bored coz she had no friends there at all. Then my uncle encouraged her to join a volunteer organization which serves to look after lost pets. Not only did she have a fun time with those lovely animals, but also she made several friends with other volunteers.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Parents today put more pressure on their children than parents in the past? Explain why. Please include specific examples and details in your explanation.

此題為對(duì)比類的話題。比較對(duì)象為parents today 和 parents in the past，比較內(nèi)容為 pressure on their children。

Absolutely yes. I do agree with the statement. Nowadays there are lots of ‘tiger moms’ or ‘wolf dads’ in China who have very high expectation for their kids and are very strict with them. For instance, parents ask their children to get straight A at school, and they sign in bunches of extracurricular classes for their kids, hoping that they are competitive than their peers. Yet in the past, children literally got no pressure from their parents. Like in my parents’ generation, they didn’t need to have good academic achievement, and there even were no available training center where students could learn more after school. So in short, parents today put more pressure on their children than parents in the past.

此題有很多限制因素在題干中，因此關(guān)鍵詞要看好，否則答題很容易跑偏。題目不僅詢問(wèn)key to success, 還涉及in college. 兩種方式做對(duì)比選擇，talking with other people versus observing others in silence. 相信大部分同學(xué)的選擇是前者，相對(duì)比較好舉例，且能和萬(wàn)能理由：鍛煉社交能力聯(lián)系起來(lái)。
