中國送給聯(lián)合國的“和平尊”有什么講究？

當(dāng)?shù)貢r間9月27日，國家主席習(xí)近平在紐約出席中國向聯(lián)合國贈送“和平尊”儀式。聯(lián)合國秘書長潘基文出席。習(xí)近平在儀式上發(fā)表講話指出，為紀(jì)念聯(lián)合國成立70周年，中國政府決定向聯(lián)合國贈送一座“和平尊”。那么這個“和平尊”有什么講究呢？我們來看看習(xí)主席的介紹：
“和平尊”以中國古代青銅器中的“尊”為原型。“尊”取“敬重”之義，在中國傳統(tǒng)文化中是十分隆重的禮器。我們今天以“尊”為禮，表達(dá)中國對聯(lián)合國的重視和支持，也是13億多中國人民對聯(lián)合國的美好祝福。
Zun of Peace is modeled after Zun, a bronze ritual object used in ancient China. Zun means reverence in Chinese, and this bronze ritual object is highly important in traditional Chinese culture. This gift represents China's high regard and support for the United Nations and the best wishes of the over 1.3 billion Chinese people to the organization.
“和平尊”以“中國紅”為主色調(diào)，熱情莊重。頂部的龍飾象征守望和平。兩側(cè)的象首、鳳鳥寓意天下太平，人民安康。尊體飾以中國傳統(tǒng)吉祥紋飾，輔以絲綢之路等元素，傳承和平發(fā)展、交流合作的理念。尊身展翅高飛的七只和平鴿，代表聯(lián)合國為世界和平而奮斗的70年。
This work is mainly in the color of "Chinese red", giving a warm and solemn touch to it. The dragons at the top represent guardians of peace, and the elephants and phoenixes on both sides convey wishes for prosperity across the world. The whole work is adorned with traditional auspicious patterns and elements of the Silk Road, representing China's vision of peace, development, exchanges and cooperation. The seven flying doves symbolize 70 years of the United Nations' dedication to world peace.
“和平尊”以中國非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)景泰藍(lán)工藝制成。這一工藝源于古代西域文化，在中國得到發(fā)展完善。它不僅展示了中華民族的悠久歷史和當(dāng)代文明，也體現(xiàn)著不同文明和文化交流互鑒、兼容并蓄、共同進(jìn)步。
Zun of Peace is made with the cloisonné technique, an intangible cultural heritage of China. The technique originated in regions to China's west at that time and was further developed in China. Zun of Peace represents the time-honored history and modern civilization of the Chinese nation; and it also stands as a symbol of exchanges and mutual-learning between different civilizations and cultures in pursuit of common progress.
“和平尊”傳遞了中國和中國人民求和平、謀發(fā)展、促合作、圖共贏的愿望和信念，這也是聯(lián)合國憲章的精神。在聯(lián)合國邁向新的10年之際，我們愿同世界各國一道，繼續(xù)為實(shí)現(xiàn)聯(lián)合國的夢想而共同努力。
Zun of Peace expresses the aspiration of China and its people to promote peace, development, and win-win cooperation, which also underpins the UN Charter. As the organization enters a new decade, China will work with all countries to realize the dream of the United Nations.
“尊”是中國古代青銅器（Chinese ritual bronzes）的一種，與鼎、豆、簠、俎、彝同屬于祭器（sacrificial vessels），根據(jù)功能不同，古代青銅器還有： 酒器(wine vessels)、食器 (food vessels)、水器（water vessels)、樂器 (musical instruments)、兵器 (weapons)、量器 (measuring containers)、錢幣 (ancient money), 以及雜器 (miscellaneous)。北京的著名小吃街簋街里面的“簋”就屬于古代酒器的一種。
